Beautiful
Jul 2019 • Friends
Beautiful nature, amazing for a day and a nice cold swim. You can have picknick there. I suggest to take good shoes, I had glippy shoes and it can be dangerous. Ive seen the first and second waterfall. The thirth is difficult to reach and quit dangerous. I combined this trip with a visit to Varese its on the way there with public transport. Easy to reach by train.

great place - beautiful falls- great for relaxing and cooling off.
Jul 2018 • Couples
We only made it to the first waterfall which was beautiful. A cove like lake - surrounded on three sides by walls of rock - perfect to wade in , stand under the waterfall, etc. So clean and refreshing. Forgot my suit so in the car so didn't go all the way in - can't tell you how deep it is. Go prepared with bathing suit, good shoes/sandals for walking on rocks and getting wet, and a picnic lunch. We didn't realize that it is a park with restrooms etc. You could spend a half day there relaxing, enjoying the scenery and the waterfalls. It was really difficult to find but somehow the gps got us there. Even when you get there it doesn't look like you are really there till you walk a bit.

Awesome waterfalls
Nov 2016 • Family
We travelled with a 10 year old and a 6 year old to the falls- managed to make it to all 3 falls and went swimming in the pool at the first and the pool at the last. The trek from the first to the second two is pretty hard going, and I was surprised the children made it- There are bits where you will need to use a rope (handily attached to the side of the mountain) and you need to be aware that if anyone falls it is a long way down and can be fatal- The falls themselves are beautiful though the water was icy cold- Very few people shared the paths and falls with us so we were free to swim au naturel, which was a joy! The entire trip took us several hours up, and at least an hour back down. The trek to the first fall is fine for young children, the other two..well, if we had known quite how hard core it was we probably wouldnt have attempted it, but both of our kids are clearly NAILS, and were more than capable- our kids are outdoor kids who love the thrill of being in nature and wouldnt recognise a gameboy if you gave them one- be aware this is not an easy trek, and we all wore correct footwear, and have plenty of experience outdoors.

Nice place very natural and relaxing.
Strongly suggested and worth a visit or a picnic.
In a hot day best place to be, a nice swim under the waterfall is a must.

3 waterfalls well worth a visit
Jun 2015 • Business
In the foothills of the Alps, on the edge of Cittiglio you will find a series of waterfalls, one above the other. Follow the signs for the 'cascate' and take a pleasant walk, up a small river valley and past the hut dedicated to the Alpini to find the first. Not of Niagara proportions, but well worth a visit. Then it is a scramble up a sign posted path to the second. The third is really a struggle - the path is often impassable due to storm damage - but a real sense of achievement if you get there.

worth to see
Sep 2014 • Solo
There are three waterfalls. The first is easy to get and it takes about 15 minutes from parking in the village. Entrance to the second and third is closed, but what does taste the best.....?;) really worth to see:)
