For non-buddhists, the history may sound boring and not easy to understand. For ordinary people, the temple serves as an excellent place, especially the big trees, the corridors, the ponds outside and the hill if you have energy. Please be advised no photos of the main hall and the god statues should be taken. This is considered disrespectful. This applies... More

Yunmen Temple is big and not so crowd. near environment is peaceful & beautiful, esp for small rain/cloudy near the background mountain. pretty, fish inside the pool also cute. i took quite much time to watch them =)

To the west of Shaoguan, in Ruyuan county, sitting at the foot of Cibei Peak, is the sprawling Yunmen Temple. It has a history of over 1000 years, originally built in 923.
