Cascada Lulu in located in El Valle, Samana. It's a small waterfall that can be reach either by trekking, a tour or after ziplining, if you do the Samana Zipline tour this will be the last stop, it's a very nice way to finish the ziplining refreshing in the nature waters of the Cascada. When it rains the Cascade Water turns a little muddy, I think is better to visit before rain never right after. It's kind of small but it's a beautiful place to spend like 15-30 minutes bathing and taking pictures, I gave it 4 stars because of the surroundings and things that can be done.

It's nice and beautiful but nothing WOW. It's a small cascade...yet they have an amazing Pina Colada and Coco Loco there...You can ask for it.

While staying in Las Terrenas we took our rental vehicle and did a day trip ourselves to the area past Samaná towards Playa Valle. The road has been recently paved and was in very good condition. We drove a little past the Samaná Zipline facility and came across a little village and parked in the car park for the Dominican TreeHouse hotel. From there we took the walk to the waterfall - Cascada Lulu. There is no need for a guide but a local kid walked with us and showed us the way and told us about the area. We gave him a tip at the end because the children had enjoyed his company. There is a rope bridge to cross the river closer to the waterfall but we did have to cross the river close to the entrance but the water only came to our calves. The waterfall has a water hole you can swim in with lovely temperature water. We were the only ones there for most of our stay there and very much enjoyed it! After finishing our little walk and swim we took the car a little further down the road to the end which is where the Playa Valle (Valle Beach) is. It was also quite deserted and nice to swim in. I recommend this day trip!
