I love Luosto. If you want plenty of snow and the feel your in the wilderness, plenty of snow sport and have everything you need for a winter holiday I recommend you go in January after the busy Santa trips in December. Of course if you have younger children say approx 5years to 8 years it is a must just before Christmas to enjoy all those Santa experiences. But if you want a chilled (sorry for the pun) get away in a predominately uncommercial area of Finland then visit Luosto. If I could go again I would leave the kids home, go after Christmas and just enjoy this beautiful winter wonderland.

This was the 2nd time that I have used this company for a snowmobile trek. Both times they have been absolutely fantastic. I had to change my booking at short notice due to my wife not being able to participate and they were understanding and changed my booking to suit. There are other companies in Luosto but if you are looking for a more personal service don't look any further than Luosto Adventures. I will definitely use them again when I return, maybe even apply for a job when I retire! Huge thanks to Ben and the team. 5 star service.

My mum won a trip to Lapland for 2 Adults & 2 Children, (luckily being an only child she gave the prize to me and my family) my parents came along too as we wanted to share this amazing experience with them, so paid the extra for them to come.
We were so lucky with our trip, as we went when there when tyre snow just began to fall properly (2-6 December) so we were lucky to do all the activities listed.
We had breakfast and dinner at the Kelo restaurant everyday which was nice enough. The staff there were really nice and helpful.
The elves and special helpers are incredible, they all played their characters so well, it must be a really tough job keeping their accents and tone of voices throughout the day. They interacted with all the children and parent (big children) and made us feel very welcome.
When it was our day to finally find Santa, the whole experience was just amazing, getting into the sledges being pulled by skidoo’s and then going to what was meant to be Wendy woods workshop turned out to be Santa’s house, the scenery and magic was out of this world... something that can never be recreated.
Santa & Mrs Clause were amazing.
All activities were well organized but the only one which I was dissatisfied with was the husky ride which lasted literally 53 seconds (as I recorded it) it may have been because of the little depth in the snowfall.. however it was all well done.
I highly recommend this trip for children aged 4+ (ours were 6 & 8yrs, perfect ages)
I don’t want to post anymore photos because it’s for you to experience and keep memories with your families. 💕

We drove a snowmobile for a couple of hours. It was difficult in the beginning but with great guidance we loved to enjoy it a lot!
