We had been to Kotosh before but it was in need of repair and quite run down but now it is very good and the surrounding area is fabulous. I even thought how much I would like to live there.

It is not so big, you can visit it in half hour, however it has a great view! Please be careful with the mosquitos! And the sun! It is very hot!

This is a little visited 4000 yo settlement site minutes outside the central Peruvian city of Huanuco. Bad luck if you don't read Spanish as there is very little English information available but it is very interesting regardless.
