Lovely trip between Waterford and Wexford. Kids loved the ferry ride. Short but with fab views. Worth hopping out of car for some quick photos. Views are spectacular. On our trip queue east to west was considerably smaller than other way!

We used the ferry to get to hook lighthouse duncannon fort Loftus Hall. It was very quick only a couple of minutes. The kids loved it. Very well priced at €12 return. Saved road travel time as well.

Used the passage east ferry to get across to wexford so we could visit hook lighthouse very quick and lovely sail over, the gentleman working on it was lovely.

If you want to save time going to and from County Wexford and County Waterford across River Suir, this brief excursion is worth your euro. Connecting Ballyhack and Passage East, the nearby towns are small and quaint with some lovely painted houses on the Passage East side. The tickets are EZ to get online, and they are timely with their departures. The ride is less than 10 minutes with easy drive in and drive out.…
