Disappointing
Jan 2021
Personally I would not bother. The tourist information stated great place to taste olives and purchase. Drive out there, sign at entrance says sales & tastings, up drive way tastings blacked out. So you enter this tiny shop to be informed doing a tasting is ‘all too difficult’ (I’m assuming they mean with Covid, even though lots of other places in area manage it). So basically I wouldn’t bother sadly.

Excellent local produce experience
Nov 2020
Our host Colin was very friendly and full of information about olive oil - we had a very enjoyable, unhurried and informative conversation. Due to COVID restrictions we could not have a tasting but Colin's descriptions were a good substitute. We bought olive oil and dukkah.

Worth a visit
Mar 2020 • Couples
Received a hot tip to visit for the best olives and we were not disappointed. Plenty of samples were enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the grove while chatting with the owners. Oils, spreads, jams and olives. Everything was well priced as well.
If we are in the area we will be back!

Delicious products, pretty site, friendly owners
Nov 2019 • Friends
Had a lovely stop here. A small showroom but everything available to taste, and it was all delicious. We left with quite a bit more than we had intended to buy because it was all fantastic (the lemon infused olive oil has immediately become indespensible in our house). Friendly and personable service from the owner, who gave us great tips about things to do in the region, as well as for our upcoming trip to WA (thanks!). Doesn't need a huge amount of time, but is absolutely worth the visit. Easy drive and parking just near the shop/tasting entrance.

At top of the olive vinyard lies a quaint caller door, the sales lady was very informative and the products were delicious, the crab apple jelly was my daughter's favorite.

Amazing views, lovely products
Aug 2019
Loved visiting this place. Quiet little set up in the main house but very professional. The owner gave us some great tips for the local area and I even got a sneaky cuddle from the resident dog Eric.
I don’t personally like olives but I loved the olive oil and would definitively go here again.

Love olives? A stop into Mount Buffalo Olives is a must! Just a few minutes drive from town, Mount Buffalo Olives is super easy to find and set amongst beautiful landscape. We were greeted by owner, Elisa, who is a warm and knowledgeable host. We enjoyed a lovely tasting and left with a bag full of goodies!

A great opportunity to see the near extinct and ancient Australian Woolemi Pine
Apr 2019 • Couples
We came up to Mt Buffalo Olives on 28 April 2019 as part of the Bright Autumn Festival Open Garden program. If you are in the area on Fri 3, Sat 4, Sun 5 May between 11am to 5pm you can view the wide range of flora on their property, which is shown on an aerial map with trees numbered and stated on the flip side of the printout. The owner provided clear instructions about the areas you can walk in and the history of how they came to plant the Bunga Bunga Pine (from a pine cone found on the site where the huge tree grows on side street off Anderson Street, Bright). If you can't come up on the days of the Open Garden (as indicated above), you can see the treasure that is the Woolemi Pine right in front of you in the carpark, looking towards the sales and tasting area. The views from this property are lovely.

Great products, enjoyed our visit
Mar 2019
Popped in here on a recent road trip to Bright. The owner shared with us their story of over 21 years here on this property, also shared generous tastes of their excellent products for us to taste. Would so recommend a visit here, though check to make sure they are open.. so you too can enjoy
