Our second adventure with Jackie and Mick this time experiencing the Victorian High Country and its delights. We stayed in brilliant accommodation recommended by Jackie and met up with our group each morning after a scrumptious dinner together. The stand out was a private dinner for our group by acclaimed chef Patriza Simmone at her Simmone Restuarant in Bright. Jackie... More

Just completed the Mt Buffalo walks with Jackie and Mick Parsons. Another great experience as we have also walked with Hedonistic Hiking in Italy and elsewhere in Victoria. Great attention to detail make their walks extremely enjoyable. The Victorian walks are a good test of their efficiency and give confidence to embark on the Italian walks. We can thoroughly recommend... More

These are great long weekend trips for a visitor from the UK to see some great sites in Victoria which we could not easily do on our own and meet and walk with great company of like minded Australians. Hedonistic Hiking through Mick and Jackie do the research, organise the trip with great restaurants and supply the special moments throughout.... More

I recently completed a 100km walk along the Great Ocean Road in the state of Victoria. It was a well organised 6 day tour with Hedonistic Hiking. I am so pleased I was able to finish the walk, a great sense of achievement. The scenery was stunning with such a striking coastline. The cottage-style accommodation was beautiful, and the food... Having thoroughly enjoyed a number of walks with this company in Italy I decided to incorporate their Great Ocean and Victorian Alps walks into a month long trip to that included a fly/drive in Tasmania. The high standard set on the previous walks was certainly maintained on both occasions with the added bonus that both Mick and Jackie led them... More

Joined Jackie and Mick on their inaugural Victorian Highlands tour. A two day experience based out of Whitfield with picture perfect weather as our constant. The first day climb to Mt Cobbler was not for the faint hearted, requiring a good base level of fitness. Our reward was the most delicious fresh healthy lunch in the rarified air, all produced... Joined Jackie and Mick for our third event in north-east Victoria, and yet again had an excellent day. Yesterday's Prosecco Road walk followed last year's Italian vs Australian winemakers dinner and the previous year's Lazy Italian Lunch and Mt Buffalo walk. Mid morning walk of abut 8km through the hills behind Whitfield was easily manageable, finishing up with a walk... More

The 5 day hike in the Victorian alps is a great example of what Hedonistic Hiking do so well. Each day's hike had its own character, which isn't an accident because of the extensive research that Mick and Jackie do to ensure their guests have an interesting time.
