Unfortunately for the price we paid our time was short due to others being much faster and had obviously been before.
Perhaps they should have set times for beginners , we would have had around 10 - 15 minutes of fun because the time goes on the fastest driver, who was definitely a lot faster.
If they're faster they should finish so others can continue their 14 laps .
I was intentionally bumped into on several occasions due to being slow , which was apparently not acceptable but the attendants did nothing !
Hence my rating of 2 stars.
Quite disappointing considering the cost .

We called in to Game Over just after it opened to enquire about birthday parties. The staff were not friendly or helpful and after waiting around for about 15 minutes while we were ignored we were then directed to their website for information. While it looks good inside, it costs too much compared to other activities and I couldn't support their lousy service.

Only did laser tag, arena very narrow & too small. Have been to laser at Dreamworld & Big Banana at Coffs Harbour, these are ten times more fun. Watched karts, course looks very small, lots of turns no speed. If you are looking for party for 8-10 yr olds this is heaven.

My 6 year old daughter has been nagging me to try the rock climbing so i gave in and we went down. We arrived at 10am as it opened to find them still vacuuming the facility. We went down to the clip n climb where she got harnessed up. Now im not very outdoorsy and obviously couldnt help her climb the wall but most of our time was spent struggling with the clips while the 3 staff members stood and watched us struggle then watched while my 6yo struggled up the wall and could only get a metre up each wall as she wasnt sure where to put her footand i couldnt help her much. She did manage to climb the hexagon wall but that was all and because she was upset she couldnt do the other walls we ended up finishing session early. Service was very appauling and i wouldnt return due to the fact.

I've come here about 6 times now... I really enjoyed the actual venue and karts, but the service is terrible at the counter. Two of my friends have bought 3 race packs for $99 and in the month or so between coming to the venue have lost the little grey tokens they give you. Now we know for s fact that they list electronically how many tokens you have and even if you had a physical token but none on your account you couldn't use it. Regardless of that, if you've lost the physical token you've as good as lost your money! The attendant said "it's the same as cash" but it's obviously not since its electrically accounted for. It's not so much the clearly opportunistic money grabbing policy that rubs me the wrong way, it's the fact the staff couldn't care less and have no desire to help.

It's sad because it's a great new karting venue, one that I have brought many friends to and had a great time, but this isn't the first time I've had these sorts of issues here and it's hit and miss with who you get and if they'll allow you to get the service you paid for!!!

Ok so we had loved this place and had spent several
Hundred over three days there again. It was my little ones birthday and the manager had asked whether he wanted to do the ‘junior championships’. I wasnt that keen initially but manager told me only a few kids were booked and it was really fun/ prizes/ trophy etc.
So I paid $220 for my boys to do the races.... little
one wanted my big one to race.

What a schamoozle. We arrived and there was no age order.... mainly a bunch of seven year olds desperate for a trophy. In my big ones first race he was smashed into several times but the same kid. Then he had another race, without that kid and he did fine. However the public were still racing so they were putting the kids on 6 at a time which is way too many.... filling them full of sugar in between. Final race came and my eldest was ploughed into several times and got quite hurt. He had pulled over after being smacked into again and hurt his knee and had asked the staff member to get him off which he ignored. He then went into the tunnel and was smacked into by the same kid yet again. He finished really upset.... game over staff member took Mickey out of him consoling him about his time when his knee was red and swollen. Saying you’ll
Do better next time and I know you are not really hurt. This is a 12 year old that took a concussion and lost in the football grand final and still
didnt cry! You could see his knee was red and swollen. I was a bit tough love and gave him a cuddle and walked him to the car and told him he’d be ok.... then went in and could overhear the staff member who’d gone over to him at the wall... denying he’d been hit. That’s when I felt angry. He was consistently hit all the way through....footage would show that and by the same kid... with the set up for the championships someone was always going to get hurt.... the kid had even come up afterwards and said ‘sorry I kept hitting you’....
So the supervisor wrote a fairly inane incident report.... I spent several hundred dollars and still have left over unused races.... staff members weren’t honest.... profit over safety.... all the things I thought game over did differently. Birthday ruined... no offer of any thing from the staff.

Wall climbing is good fun and HARD! but really disappointed in the Kart racing Staff electronically slow Karts down if they get too close to each other not allowing overtaking it's not as if I'm a young hoon at the age of 46

This place exceeded all my expectations - which is the first time ever in Australia! Friendly and enthusiastic staff who all seemed to enjoy working there. The kids registered, took the pre-race safety course and paid attention to the video. The operator told them he could shut their cars off if they broke the rules and increase speed if they were safety conscious. He said they were racing against themselves and not others. Worked like a champ and each kid got a statistical lap by lap breakdown of their performance and the others. Electric cars mean instant acceleration and No Smoke! Kids only ride against other kids - no adults. There is also a wall-climbing attraction and again, an excellent safety/orientation video (I love standardization of best practices) and off they went. The system is so clear a 5 year old child was able to hook herself up, climb to the top, jump off and repel to the bottom. The safety & staff inspire confidence and the kids extended themselves. I was shocked to see fairly sedentary kids scampering up the rope climbs and climbing poles. This really revved them up in a very good way. Finally, we went to the Laser Combat and the kids literally and physically had a blast. Electronic scoring, Low-light TV cameras for adults monitoring the fun. Safety is such a huge priority here and that is just gold. There is a little electric cart area for the small kids and parents can watch all the action from the upper deck. BUT, best of all: The snack bar makes some really, really tasty sandwiches for a good price. This is the first business Perfecta in five years of going into the Gold Coast. I've been to all the kart places between New South Wales and Brisbane and this one is hand's down the absolute best and a gold standard for all the other enterprises (pay attention Dream World & Warners!) Environmentally sound -- electric cars! Customer service! Safety! Enthusiasm! Value for money! Good Food! Did I mention very clean toilets? They get it exactly right and good for them.

Game over is a load of fun! It has a good range of variety. The rock climbing is awesome with a heap of different walls to climb. The go carts are loads of fun and so is the Lazer tag. Definitely a must do.
