Lovely look into Celtic Ireland, focusing on the myths of the Tuatha dé Danann. Although it's a small enough exhibit, if you're planning on taking a trip to the Ring Fort (Grianán Ailigh), a trip to the An Grianán Hotel and the Old Church Visitors Centre can be incorporated. The only downside is that you must walk through the restaurant to get to the exhibits, and they are up a flight of stairs, no good for wheelchair users. Also not a lot of space to maneuver around, but if your party is small in numbers, it wouldn't be a problem. Food is lovely, we had a bite to eat in the bar of the hotel, staff are lovely, great place and well worth a visit.

Delighted to see a first class visitor centre at Speenoge Burt. Excellent presentation of the Celtic myths and legends of the area, very informative, interactive and fun. A must see for anyone visiting the area. Very impressed with everything on offer betweeen the visitor centre, excellent restaurant, An Grainan hotel with great accommodation and their new 'Celtic Feast' show. The hotel and visitor centre occupy a wonderful site below the 1700 BC Grainan Fort steeped in pre and Celtic history and mythology. Congratulations in bringing all this to life.

Many visitors to An Grianan of Aileach head straight to the fort, where there is very little information about the fort. Stopping off at the Old Church, would make a lot of sense and really out the entire area into context. Choose the €5 tea and scone entry fee, and you’ll be ready to head to the fort.

Located in an old church in Burt, this attraction is very entertaining. Talking characters appear out of hanging pictures to greet you and then move you on to the next attraction. It has to be seen to be appreciated. It displays the history of the area and there are many copies of artefacts dotted all around the place. Well done to those who created this.

A beautiful old church which has been exceptionally well converted to a restaurant. Some interesting artifacts to view.

Very interesting. I’m not sure I would pay to go to it but an excellent addition to an overnight stay

We stayed in An Grianan Hotel so had access to the Visitor Centre in the Old Church which is now also the hotel's restaurant. The small, interactive museum is well presented and very interesting.

Very informal and relaxed visit but the facilities were very modern like in a large tourist attraction in a big city. Very enjoyable and good use of multimedia technology with ancient historical legends. Great place to stop for a quick coffee and some context to your Donegal drive
