Iain is a great guy. Miss his dog!

Loved the experience in there. He took me to a couple of places including Gola island which was great. He is really gentle, his family as well. Recommend it.

This made the drive to the remote northwestern parts of the Republic of Ireland totally worth it!! Our guide Iain was a pleasure to meet. He was as entertaining as he was experienced and professional. Whether you climb or not, this is a MUST DO if you are in Ireland. The island offers so many Breathtaking vistas but if you... More

Man…when the swells are crashing and foaming against the rocks below, you’re hanging off a slippery crux 65 feet in the air, on a sea-buried cliff a quarter-mile off a remote coastline, and dark clouds are looming and rain starts splattering off your hands and helmet, all you can think is, How the heck did I get here?! But then... More

My wife and I booked Unique Ascent for two days of guided climbing in June 2016, and we highly recommend the experience to others. Prior to making the trip from the U.S. to Ireland, I worked directly with Iain Miller, company director and mountain instructor, to plan and prepare, and despite the time difference, Iain was always punctual in his... Iain took me and a group of friends out for two amazing days in Donegal that we simply could not have come close to experiencing on our own. Iain's knowledge of the landscape and local history of Donegal allow him to take you to places that are unlike any other on earth and understand some of the reasons they are... More

Hiking to and then climbing the sea stack by An Port, Glenlough bay is not for the faint hearted, but if you're up for a challenge and want something "a little" different then get in contact with Iain. He is one interesting guy and has many a story to tell. The trek up to a sea stack is well worth... More

So grateful to Iain for a spectacular 3 days of seastack climbing! The trip was way beyond my expectations! Iain is a fun guide with loads of knowledge of climbing, Donegal, and the local culture. I stayed in his guest cottage which was absolutely charming! I highly recommend going to visit Iain as he can customize a trip to suit... More

Exceptional experience, this is the very best way to see the rugged coastline of Donegal. Iain is an excellent instructor, very competent and professional. This was my first time Rock Climbing, the challenge was both exhilarating and terrifying! I would definitely do this again. Thank you very much for an incredible day out, I'm looking forward to our next session,... More

Iain is funny and accommodating. The climbing was fun for me (experienced) and my brothers (less to no experience). Recommend.

We had a fantastic day out with Ian. We had a great laugh, a fab time climbing and learnt some new things along the way too. We were also recommended a great spot to wild camp which was beautiful so thanks very much for your local knowledge. Ian is an outstanding instructor- highly recommended.
