James Bond and other Islands Speedboat Tour, Canoeing and Floating Village Buffet

A really excellent tour day, very well organised, packed a lot in. The islands are incredible and beautiful and other people have reviewed all that well so I will only add a couple of bits of info that might be helpful. When you arrive at the port there is a nice refreshment area serving complimentary cold drinks, tea and coffee etc, clea toilets and the option to buy slip on waterproof beech shoes and waterproof camera phone wallets both of which were inexpensive and highly recommended as you will be getting into canoes etc and walking around rock caves. Once on the boat more complimentary water and fruit juices are offered at very regular intervals as well as water melon, pineapple and at one point ice lollies so you are never thirsty or lacking refresment. There is also a toilet on the speedboat. If you taake a bag of belongings they will be safe on the boat any time you diseembark. We had a good buffet meal, chicken legs, salads, batterred prawns and onion rings, rice and noodles and Tom Yum soup at the floating village in a very nice restaurant area. The hole day is about 6 hours on the boat plus transfers which can be an hour or more each way depending on your pick up location. All teh staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a fun daay we enjoyed very much. One of the better tours to do.

Customer Service pathetic.

Paid the fees/price quoted/required for the James Bond Island trip. Why was there an extra charge of THB 300 each for the National Park fee? One can't visit James bond Island without paying this fee. This is utterly disgusting. Why don't you add this to the initial price? The E-mail written came back with an automated reply. It seems they do not bother with customers once they have sold the trip as they probably know he/she will not come back again.

It was the best trip ever, could not recommend a day trip to the Similan Islands highly enough. Fee and his team were impeccable, always going over and above for you. We could not fault anything during the whole trip.

We took a trip to James bond island operated by James Bond grand vision company Ltd during the booking terms and condition there were a few things they’d been incorrect with. I booked the tour online, under the impression transfers & national park admission were included which it stated. Which wasn’t correct, after the tour had ended we were approached and asked for 1000b. With surprise we didn’t have that amount of money to hand and were told we’d have to pay after being dropped back to our hotel.

This not being the only poorly advertised thing, the itinerary started the monkey caves would be the first point on our tour however they weren’t, we didn’t actually set off on the tour until 11:30am heading to the canoeing, James Bond island followed by the fishing village at no point were we told that they’d add the monkey caves at the end of the tour which would mean we everything was late.

We ended the tour an hour late.. which then meant the travel back to our hotel would be late, not mentioning our transfer would be over two hours long!!! This is an absolute joke! It doesn’t state anywhere that we’d spend Almost 5 hours on a mini bus! Had this have been advertised I wouldn’t have booked the tour. It clearly states the tour ends in Phuket.. not almost two hours away from Phuket!

I wouldn’t recommend this tour unless you want to spend most the the trip in a mini van!!

Not my idea of fun! Definitely not worth the 2000b spent!

Why were you under the impression that transfer fee and national park fee were included when the transfer fees and national park fees are clearly visible and stated under each tour on the website and it is also stated on the tour voucher so why the surprise? It is also clearly stated in the tour program that the pier is in Phang Nga province and the pier is located 30 minutes from Phuket province, not 2 hours.

Worst company to book trip

I took a trip to James bond island operated by James Bond grand vision company Ltd and we were 6 people group with 2 elders and 1 kid. It was one of the worst experience to end my trip. The company supposed to pick us up at 9am and picked us only at 9.40 am. We reached panjee village at 1.10pm and was able to get food only by 1.25pm. We had quick lunch and as per recommendation from our guide went to visit school and floating bridge. On the way, two got lost and due to communication issue, were delayed by 20 min. I left my kid in the boat and went to fetch others. The guide was mocking us for being late and also had almost took off with my kid on my boat. Then, he behaved rudely with my wife and family members. In the due course, my daughter got hurt and was bleeding. I asked for some first aid and he completely ignored. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. I wanted to end my tour with good memories, but ended with absolute horror. I will rather recommend to consider other company. Thanks Sudhi k

Very nice and intersting trips

Me and my friends, we took part in three trips offered by this agency. All of them were well organised, Just one thing what could be improved, we could pay just cash, no other way was functional at the time we went for trips, no pay pal, no cards, no online pay.
We went for a trips to Phi Phi islands, Similan islands and James Bond island. All of them very very interesting, well organised, with nice staff. Just visiting Naka bay at James Bond trip was dissapointment, beach was dirty, nothing intersting to see and a lot of annoying sellers asking each five minutes to buy something.

A very fun day

We did 2 tours with Phuket Tours Direct, a snorkelling trip and a private around Phuket Island Tour. Both were very good and well run. I appreciated how easy it ws to make the booking online.
Our around island tour was a fantastic day and a great way to start our time in Phuket. Our guide Bird was very good, and answered all our questions.
We went all over the island and to a variety of attractions, temples, beaches, lookouts and more. We had a good amount of time at each, and then time to swim at Kata Beach after a late lunch.

We all had a great time.

Phi Phi+ Bamboo islands & Khao Lak safari

We booked 2 trips with Phuket tours direct.

First one was the Phi Phi + Bamboo islands and it was perfect, the driver picked us from the hotel exactly on time, the crew from Ocean mania were just great ,our guides Honey and Mina very knowledgeable about the islands, helpful,always smiling and entertaining us on boat. Food was good as well, a buffet with everything for everyone.
This is a memorable day for me and my family

The second trip was the Khao Lak safari with” Sutin Group” The tour guide barely spoke English and barely spoke to us. Very poor lunch which was included in the price. The air conditioner was broken and the car was dirty.
The staff from the Elephant trekking and bamboo rafting they were great!

10+ for the guys from Ocean mania, and the staff from the bamboo rafting & elephant trekking

Beautiful way to see Phi Phi Islands

They take care of you well. They have decent boats, with comfortable seating. They took us around Phi Phi at leisure without pressuring or rushing us. They had a nice safe cab pick us up from our hotel to the speedboat pier.
We were treated to nice lunch at the island of Phi Phi Don.
We visited Good spots for snorkeling, diving and feeding the fish.
Ask for Simon, their guide. He is a happy, fun person, who loves taking care of his customers with a personal helpful touch. I think he was one of the main reasons we will recommend this tour again and again. Thanks Simon & Phi Phi Tours Direct, for all the fun.

Very Happy with Service

I would like to thank Phuket Tours Direct for continuing with my booked tour on Monday 21 March even though I was the only client doing that tour. The owner showed me other places along the way, that weren’t a part of the original tour package.

I had used this tour company for two other water cruises in Phuket, and each time I found that they used companies who spoke good English and were very informative about the local area.
