A must for Rum lovers!

A fantastic and informative short tour while sipping a mojito made for a chilled afternoon on a rainy day. The guide was very knowledgeable answering our questions. The tasting that followed was outstanding! We also had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and felt the quality of the food was really high and prices were extremely reasonable. We made some purchases as gifts and the packaging was very attractive. We would recommend a tour and a meal when visiting the area if it is sunny or rainy!

Great way to kill some time

We booked the 30-minute rum distillery tour to kill some time. It was very informative and interesting. Also super value for money as you get a mojito, tasting of 5 different rums and 1 gin; our tour guide also gave some tips on mixing drinks. All in all it took almost 1 hour and was a very good way to spend the afternoon. Also, had a great time petting the resident distillery cats while waiting for our taxi!

Fun Cocktail Workshop and Rum Tasting

We had a great, fun experience making great cocktails. The distillery has a nice, relaxing atmosphere and you can casually enjoy drinks in the outdoor bar. I learned to make an amazing spicy, mango rum drink which is now my favorite drink ever. It's a great way to wind down a long day of sightseeing, would be especially fun for a large group of friends.

Amazing for friends and family

Super cool trip. We went with family after dolphin show (it’s near by). Adults tasted spirits, kids were eating tasty dinner and plays with friendly local black cat . And they really loved virgin Mango colada. We enjoyed spirits tasting! Food is great. I highly recommend this place (and I’ve been to really many distilleries and wineries. This one is charming and fun)

Fantastic Cocktail Workshop

What a fantastic cocktail making experience! We opted for the Rum Cocktail Workshop, and were not disappointed! It starts with your first cocktail, the Mojito, which you take along with you as you learn about what makes the rum distilled at Chalong Bay so special. Then, just as you've finished your tour and drink, you are treated to a tasting of all the rums (and even the gin) distilled at Chalong Bay! To finish, you make two more tasty cocktails, the Devil's Gold and the Sunset Kiss, which leave you just a little bit more smiley. The bartenders are awesome too. Very informative, enthusiastic, and just fun to hang around. Definitely recommend!

Unforgettable experience

Been here with a group of friends. They’ve messed up with a booking, but apologised and made a tour for us (very interesting, by the way), followed by a cognitive and wonderful degustation. Really. We have been to many similar places, but this one stands out. Partially because of amazing staff (thank you Pop and Au), partially because of interesting cocktails (which you don’t expect to be so delicious, when you make them😜).
They also have a restaurant on the territory, which is closed because of COVID, but they can open it for big companies (book in advance). Overall it’s a Soulful place, must have for companies.

Didnt expect much, rum mixing workshop just sounds like mixing liquid for a price. But the ambience was chill and I really liked the drinks made in the workshop. Good for travellers who are looking for a slow activity to relax

A lot of rum tasting offered. The food is very average, nothing special. The guide that led the tour has very heavy accent, so it was very difficult to understand. I had to read the posters to know what he is saying…just google the “rum production” and save yourself the time.

Great activity for the afternoon

Brilliant place, with cool outdoor seating vibes. The rum is made from local sugarcane which you can taste in your drinks. We booked the 30min distillery tour which we really enjoyed, it was very informative, included a mojito tasting of different rums and a gin. We would like to go back for the cocktail making class or for lunch.

Great experience

We had checked out Chalong Bay distillery beforehand and decided to go there without buying any tickets to any tour.

When we got there we were happily greeted and we told that we would want the tour. We were told to sit down and after a short time we got really good mojitos. After we got the mojitos our tour guide asked if we are ready to start the tour.

The tour was nice. It explained basics of alcohol types, why this distillery does what it does and showed and explained what the different equipment does.

After the tour you got to taste the produce with a thai twist.

All in all really nice, friendly staff and a huge recommendation for anyone. We ended up buying some bottles to home too.

The prices were low for what we got.
