I visit the Phunaka Driving Range almost daily to practise my swing. It is very different from a european driving range. Dogs are roaming around, people carry your golf bag when you arrive and leave and also bring you golf balls. There is a short game area where you can practise the short game although the bunkers are in a really bad condition. You pay 60 baht per tray which is the cheapest on the island to my knowledge.…

We drove to this course to play a round of golf, as it was listed as a cheaper option on the island. Unfortunately when we got there the staff told us the course is permanently closed. The driving range is still open, though we didn't bother to use it because we went to another course. …

Very well maintained, fairways are kept nicely trimmed, greens also, and good in condition. I played this course three times with friends and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Lots of par threes and a couple fours with lots of water a challenging course for a mid handicap player, but most of all we found it fun and had a laugh with the caddies.
