It's free to visit. You can read about the Hollywood stars who believe in Buddhism. if you like seeing places of interest, this is worth going. Ladies need to have shoulders covered. If you forget they do lend a shaw to allow you to go...More

Now some renovation works going on. But still can go in. Nice place to visit. In the hill place. We can see super scenery from top.

It is Not fully constructed and nothing much to see If you are passing by it is an ok place to go but definitely not worth the effort to go just for it

Big Buddha is one of the most popular places in Phuket. (It is a place that every local will recommend you to go!) My friends and I enjoyed the view a lot, but we wish the weather could be better that day!

Well worth the trip up a very steep and mad hill to see this monument. Monkeys running around and monks meditating inside but by far the best part is the amazing views. We loved it.

In my opinion, you do not need to be super fit or active to visit this monument, (I am 74 and did this with ease) there is transportation available up the mountain to the Big Buddha which is still under construction... More
