Well worth a visit. You really only grasp how big it is when you arrive. They truly have done a magnificent job building this monument. Still a lot of work to finish off around structure. Great views from top of hill as well.

I'm glad we got to check out Big Buddha. You will also get to see the monks and there are vendors you can buy from to help with the construction going on.

I think No...I saw a few taxis in the parking lot but they seem to be the one already booked by the people visiting the Big Buddha.....The safer bet will be to hire a taxi and visit the place......Alternatively, if feeling... More

Hi Kaz, hiring motorbike will be if there only 2 of you and most importantly must have good riding skill as the roads are narrow and need proper handling especially during the return. Don't use tuk tuk service for Big Buddha... More
