Nice way to spend an hour or so driving up to the top. Walk around the big Buddha and take in the view across chalong bay and Phuket town. Few refreshment stalls up top.

Tranquil location with amazing views. The place is still under a bit of renovation but well worth a visit. After a long walk up and around the location, grad an ice cold coconut from the local vendor.

It is a must visit location for all the Buddhists who travels to Phuket. The view from the bottom is wonderful.

A nice experience but it could be better as the access is not so easy (roadworks) and the surround are not perfectly maintained (due to a lack of financial resources I guess). It is a very touristic place.

Spiritual place with great views. You can see the whole bay. Go early in the morning when nobody is there.

We decided to head up and visit the Buddha. We rented a Vespa for 250 baht for 24 hrs and getting there was very easy. Once we were on the main road going up the mountain side we could see Elephant rides sharing the road with us. A very nice surprise. Up at the top they have a free vegetarian... More

Worth a trip up to see this massive Buddha. You can see all of Phuket from this high point. No entry fee. Monkeys try and look in your bags so watch out. Women must cover there knees and shoulders.

Big is an understatement. It was very impressive to see. Its a long drive to get up there but its worth it. I will comment though that on the drive up there are some of the most horrible things i have witnessed. These little shops have baby elephants chained up outside in the street. Selling the ability to feed them... More

Best place with the best view. From this point you can see nearly all places in south of phuket. Kata, Karon, Chalong, Naiharn, Cape Promthep or Phuket Town from big budha you can see it all. On especial days its possible to see phi phi island also. Try to find your hotel 😁. From this place you will also see... More

Wonderful experience. It's possible to see all the island from this statue garden. Under the statue is possible to visit the temple.
