- MarkManchester, United Kingdom93 contributionsWonderful ExperienceFirstly we did some research on this Tiger Park before we visited to ensure the Tigers are looked after and we’ll accommodated. We opted to have a picture taken with the larger Tigers as it was a good price. We made our way to the enclosure and passed many tigers. All seemed to be healthy and well looked after, even had swimming pools for them to cool down in. As we entered the enclosure we had 2 employees with us at all times, they took our pictures and ensured we was safe at all times. Yes I see a lot of negative comments but we had nothing to report on, healthy and well looked after tigers and in a safe environment. A memorable experience although we was in and out within 15 minutes, I would recommend a visit here.Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 29, 2023
- Elizabeth SParadise Valley, Arizona42 contributionsI have concernsWe stumbled upon this place when we were on a private tour of Phuket Island (separate review). The driver didn’t really have a good idea of where to take us. This park is quite new and has growing pains. The staff was caring and attentive, and the tigers appeared well-cared for. BUT the animals acted heavily sedated, and I did not see any claws on them. Maybe the claws are kept short, but I suspect they have been declawed, which to my mind is the same as cutting off tips of fingers. Had I known, I would not have patronized this place. I would recommend going to a more well-established park such as Tiger Kingdom in Chiang Mai.Visited February 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten February 28, 2020
- richj65Chicago, Illinois1,177 contributionsA nice experienceI like the fact that there was no upsell like other parks. Also, the instructions by the handles were something I never received at similar parks. There were always three employees in the cage with you. You can get up close photos with the tigers, but you must choose an adult or cub before entering.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 28, 2023
- Craig Rose23 contributionsGreat photosThis is an opportunity to get up and close with all sized tigers. They are friendly, don’t touch their head, and the staff get them into great positions for photos. A awesome experience. Very friendly and accommodating staff. - AnkitpatwariTinsukia, India23 contributionsTiger park with kidsIt's fun for young kids. Adults can avoid . All animals keep on sleeping. They make them awake for photo session. No thrill. Tiger feeding was fun. Only adults allowed in tiger cafe. Kids can have picture with cheetah and can do tiger feeding. If you have small kids can surely visit.Visited July 2022Traveled with familyWritten July 29, 2022
- msnakimSingapore2,370 contributionsPhoto OnlyI wasn't sure if I wanted to visit, as there are reviews on ethical concerns. After a mental tug of war within me, I did go. At the ticket purchase area, I was told the waiting time for "smallest" is over an hour. After a puzzling walk around, I couldn't figure out how the queue system works. So I approached a staff. Not sure if I had accidentally jumped queue or not, but they allowed me walk in immediately. The tigers were sleeping. We took a quick photo and left. The park could have improved the experience by sharing fun facts about tigers etc. Other than a photo, we didnt gain much from the experience.Visited December 2022Written January 1, 2023
- Elena HristovaRuse, Bulgaria3 contributionsTiger park - the best memories from PhuketAmazing place with so much love to the animal. All staff were so positive and explain to you everything about the tiger live in the park. Definitely this animals have a good treatment and many love from the visitors. Sometimes is very hot and it is normal they to be little sleepy but the feeling to hug a tiger 🐅 is the best. Not only photos, here this people make memories. Thank you! 😊Visited April 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 14, 2023
- MariaButzkiBarking, United Kingdom72 contributionsIf you love animals don't go.This is a terrible place as the tigers are kept on a concrete slab with nothing to keep them looking like a natural habitat. The animals look very heavily sedated. The staff at the front desk strongly encourage people to go into the cages to pose for photos pulling the cats tails and laying all over them. Its very disappointing and seems like the authorities don't even check. The cages are very small which don't give the tigers enough roaming space. Some tigers looked distressed. I have so many distressed photos of animals in small cages. Places like this should be shut down. Imagine how many tourist per day go to sit on the animals. I wish l never went.Visited December 2021Written January 4, 2022
- Az A13 contributionsTigers look sedated & are kept in poor conditions.A real shame, we were looking forward to this as a family… but left concerned for the tigers. Every single tiger we saw, both caged or photographed with people seemed on the border of unresponsive. The cages they were kept in smelt really bad, to the extent we covered our noses with our T-shirts and walked by as quickly as possible. The cages were small & their were many of them. I’ve attached photos as insight to what we saw.Visited July 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten July 14, 2022

My heart was broken when I saw tigers kept in tiny smelly cages with poop right in the middle. The animals just pace up and down the cages in the heat. I can’t understand how it is allowed. And all the staff have sticks in their pockets😢😢😢

Such polarized opinions about this place, as well as the Phuket Tiger Kingdom, which I'm told is the same kind of setup and same price... maybe even same company. I certainly had mixed feelings. But I'm such a sucker for big cats, that I bit the bullet and went.
If you're looking for evidence of animal abuse, you won't really see any. Animals look clean and well fed, and staff look like they enjoy caring for the animals. The cages do seem rather small though.
Are they drugged? Well... the smallest tiger I interacted with was in a deep, deep sleep. The trainer said that they were sleeping because they always get that way after a big meal, just like a cat. I don't know... every housecat I know of will wake up if you move their paws or hold their tail up.
OTOH, the larger, "mid-sized" tiger was definitely not drugged. He seemed calm, but chewing on something, moving around, fairly alert. A little scary actually. But no sign of aggression.
They say they're not drugged because they're tame and socialized to deal with people from a young age. But even if that's true, it probably isn't the best thing for them to be taken from their mothers and interact only with people.
Also, their largest tigers are 3-4 years old, which begs the question, what happens to them after that age? Because a tiger should live 14-16 years in captivity.
Keep in mind too, they keep a constant supply of tiger cubs on hand to have people interact with baby tigers. So pretty soon, you're going to have a bunch of big tigers to feed, who have limited use as tourist attractions. Where do they all go?
If you don't think about these questions, it's a unique experience, but there are definitely questions...
Oh, and pricey too. Selfies with tigers do not come cheap.

There is no such thing as an ethical tiger sanctuary in Phuket that allows you to pose with them. If you are offered the chance to take any pictures, even with harmless cubs, then you are somewhere which drugs and exploits animals, and you should leave immediately.
