Booked on this boat with my partner, how sorry were we! Pick up service from hotel to boat didn't turn up the first day! Rearranged for the following and this time they showed. Set sail with 10 on boat even though leaflet said 8 max. Nobody gets a rod, just take turns to feel in if there is a bite. Trawled a number of rods most the day with 2 tiny tuna being caught. Can not of been much over 8 inches and yet they killed them and cooked them! No wonder there are no fish left in this area! Never again!

This was by far one of the best tours i have ever done in Thailand . We chartered a private boat thru Exquisite tours who you can find on face book. If you are looking for the best tours in Thailand add them to fb and contact Ms We. She is simply amazing .

It starten out ok. The boat was ok and the straff as well. But then the hell started. They told us it was a game and we had to pick a card. Me and my boyfriend drew the numbers 7 & 8. Those numbers were so far back in line that we didn't even get to touch the rod. "It's all a game" the staff told us. A game we paid 2500 baht for and that nobody told us about.
The lunch was cold rice, cold chicken and small cooked fishes that some of the people had the luck to catch by bottom fishing.
The staff told us that they had to many people on the boat and thats why our numbers never were called!
This is a bad company in every way you would EVER imagine!!!

We did a full day with Phang Nga Bay by Speedboat. In the information they said it was an ecofriendly, iso certified adventure company. The first island we went to was full of plastic and rubbish both at shore and in the snorkeling water. Real touristic places everywhere we went.

Recently used Asia Web Direct Tour for a big game fishing join in tour during our stay in Phuket.

The experience was disappointing. Transportation to and from our hotel was fine.
Once we got on the boat, the staff didn't really say anything to us. I was given number 10 on the boat (the website said there is a maximum of 6 passengers). Only 3 people got a chance to reel anything in while we were trolling. We caught 5 pretty small tunas.

Once we got to the island, we hooked up to another boat and had lunch (which was not very good, the tuna we caught, white rice, and some friend chicken). Once we were ready to go back, the boat would not start. The staff didn't say anything or explain what was going on. One passenger finally asked, and his response was basically, we'll go in ten minutes.

Overall a very disappointing day.

Hello everyone! I decided to share with you my experience from my first fishing trip. We had vacation in Thailand, Phuket and my husband offered me to have a little fun ang go for fishing, he wanted to catch a big fish and I just sunbathed on the board. At our hotel we were recommended Fishing tour with Wahoo Big Game Fishing Co., as more enjoyable fishing in Phuket ...and the most expensive (3700 THb/person). At first everything seemed ok: not bad big boat, good fishing equipment, soft drinks and bottled water, towels (there were 6 of us, and they had only 5 towels...). And now about the trip. Trolling was pointless. No fish. And it seems like they catch a big fish once a year. The way to the place of bottom fishing was very long ang exhausting. When we got the destination I even couldn't keep the rod. I have never suffed from seasickness before and my husband too, but there everyone felt very bad. Three of us were lying during the whole trip. Any pills for motion sickness didn't help. The others tryed to catch fish in spite of anything. The boat tossed in different directions. I didn't like our guide, didn't remember his name.He was taciturn and absolutely indifferent to what was happening. I think, if one of us died on the board he wouldn't care. Eventually three of us caught about 7 small fishes and in this first part of the fishing was over. In my eyes was getting dark when I saw the island not far from our boat. I hoped we would go down to the land for rest and swimming (the weather was very good), but to my disappointment we stayed to drift. The crew began to cook the lunch from caught fish. I couldn't look at the food. I imaged with horror the second part of fishing which must be focused on the Big fish. I will not tell how I survived another 3 hours in the sea, tell only that nobody saw any big fish, only some thirty-centimeter tuna.
P.S. I think this trip is not worth such big money (3700 THb/person). I couldn't fish at all, my husband kept the rod only 2 times. No big fish we saw. It's not an attraction, it was torment. I don't recommend such fishing tour to anyone, especially girls. Don't waste time and money!

I was booked (by them) to go on a fishing tour on their N//Year . I was one of 12 paying customers, we all paid for the No.1 tour . We did troll fishing out to the first island. Then we had lunch ( for 3 hrs and not the 1 hr as listed ).They hooked up to another boat for what appered to be a family gathering, and STILL no fishing. After some insistance by disgrunted clients ,we got to the fishing part of the tour . A whole 40 minutes of drift fishing with hand lines with No.1 size hook and 3oz. sinker, (need less to say it drifted away with the current.) No one got to use the rods except the 1st mate. The only fish caught (3, 8inch mackrel ) were reeled in by the 1st mate as we trolled back to the peir. When we arrived back no one thanked the crew for the day nor tipped them (much to their susprise) So if you want to pay to watch some one else do all the fishing ,book with this crew.
