Stef and Alex were great. Alex is so sweet and super responsive but not pushy, and you can tell they enjoy their work. All the gear is brand new (not like other places where everything is gross and worn down) and you can tell Stef just loves being in the water. He takes the time to show us everything and identify fish - and the best part is he paces it well; we were always first ones in and last ones out so we could enjoy being underwater. My buddy was new to diving and always worried about air consumption but with Stef we were averaging 60minute dives no problem. Lunch was delicious and the crew are so helpful. 100% recommend especially if you want to support local, professional and safety (not money) oriented shops in Cozumel.

My husband and I dove with Jungle Divers for 14 dives last November and had such an amazing experience! We were newbies who had been disappointed by not being able to dive on our honeymoon due to poor communication with the shop and bad weather. We had heard great things about Cozumel to start learning and gaining experience, I especially was still nervous and feeling like I had a lot to learn. There are many dive operators in Cozumel and when I had narrowed the list based on recommendations, I felt most at ease in communicating with Alex. She responded quickly and answered all my questions, as well as put together a special dive package and itinerary based on what we were looking for. This included getting a night dive certification with night dives and a sunset dive that were certainly highlights of our time. Alex made sure we had a private guide, Elena, our first day as we requested, and we were able to stay with her for the rest of the trip. Elena was such an excellent guide, very patient, attentive, and instructive. Alex made sure that the groups remained small with few divers per guide. All of our equipment was taken care of so all we had to focus on was our dives. We gained so much experience and felt much more at ease by the end of our trip. When I was concerned about water in my ears, Alex and the guides helped to talk me through it and Alex got me a cap and even sent someone to get me ear drops going way above and beyond! I highly recommend them to everyone - a well run dive shop specializing in catering to each diver’s needs and experience. You won’t be disappointed!!

This is an incredible dive shop that makes the entire process so seamless and easy.
Alex was extremely responsive leading up to our trip and provided us with the best and most flexible program out of any dive shop. When we arrived at the dive shop the morning of our first day of diving Alex had everything ready for us to just try on for size. Stef then drove us to the boat and our equipment was loaded. On the boat dives Stef truly took care of everything and we were able to just enjoy the ride and chat with other people.
Our dive groups with Stef were always extremely small (max 1-2 other people) which was great. We were always the first group in the water at a dive site which allowed us to maximize our time in the water. Stef is incredible at finding animals and tries to take pictures of you with the animals, which was a huge (unexpected) bonus!!
Our last day was a full day trip that we took with Stef to Cenotes on the mainland which I would highly recommend. It was an otherworldly experience (see image). It was our first ever dive in a Cenote and Stef made the whole process extremely easy.
Alex and Stef are passionate about and extremely experienced with diving and it clearly comes across in everything they do. We would absolutely dive with them again

What can I say about Alex and Stef, other than we felt completely taken care of during all 3 days of our diving with them. One of the days they had to alternate with another divemaster but they arranged it all and again, we were well taken care of. Alex is great with communication and always responded quickly. She is a gem. Stef's laid back yet conscientious approach was great because he made us feel capable without feeling overwhelmed. The reef dives were fantastic and so, so beautiful we didn't want it to end. Our cenote dives were pure magic and Stef's knowledge of the history and his obvious care for preserving the natural formations in these cenotes was a great learning experience for both myself and my daughter. These beautiful environments deserve respect and care, and we are glad to know that this is happening. Overall, we would definitely dive with Jungle Divers again if we are in the area. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I have been diving with a number of different operations and Jungle Divers is by far the best experience I have had. It started off with a prompt reply to my inquiry by Facebook messenger and only got better. Stef was an awesome instructor for my son completing his advanced certification and an exceptional guide. Stef was very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. We did four daytime dives, a twilight, and a night dive. What a great experience. Stef and Alex have set the bar awfully high for service and dive experience while keeping pricing quite reasonable. I couldn’t have been more pleased.

We recently dove with Jungle Divers in Cozumel. Alex was great from start to finish in communicating with us and customizing our dive reservation and tailored it to our needs. Steph was a great dive guide. We elected to shore dive in front of the shop and he did not rush us. He allowed us to take our time and enjoy the views. We also enjoyed his fish identification and learned about some new fish we had never seen before. Ellie was a great guide for our snorkeling son and watched him at all times and allowed him to enjoy the time at the surface. Steph was also safety-conscious and environmentally conscious of the reef around us. I would trust this dive shop because they cared for our dive safety and the safety of our children. When we return to the area we will book with Jungle Divers again!! 5 stars!!!

I decided to go with them after doing some research, contacting a few shops and receiving the best responses from Alex. She was quick at responding to messages and during my stay when the port was closed for a few days, this information was transmitted at a very timely manner.
I am more than happy that I picked Jungle Divers. The rental gear was in excellent shape, dive sites were beautiful and although on two of the days we were on a boat with other groups, diving was still in small groups. On all dives it was me and 1-3 other divers plus a guide, I even did my first twilight dive and really appreciated diving with just one person and Steph.
Both Richard and Steph were excellent, helpful, thorough, and very kind. They were great at finding and spotting out critters hiding in the corals and the marine life in Cozumel is brilliant. We left nothing but bubbles and I appreciated the attention they paid to buoyancy – there are many dive operations that unfortunately will touch and harm coral and marine life, but they really appreciate the underwater world and treat it with respect.
I was slightly nervous about drift diving and diving in the dark, but the thorough briefings and the behavior of Steph and Richard put my mind at ease. Any concerns I had were attended to in a very professional manner and I felt safe and comfortable at all times. I also felt like they’d always give helpful feedback after the dives on what to work on with my diving which I really appreciated.
Diving with Jungle Divers is how diving should be – calm, relaxing, professional and most of all safe! I cannot recommend them highly enough and I hope to come back sooner rather than later. Thank you so much for a fantastic end to 2021 and a brilliant start to 2022!

Did 2 2-tank dives with Jungle Divers and both were amazing. My husband didn't feel well enough to dive, I was worried that I would either be put with a bigger group or not be able to dive but Jungle Divers still took me for the dives. Even if they had other groups, I got a dive master just for myself both time (Steph the first day and Richard the second day)! Both Steph and Richard were really good at pointing critters big and small from rays, sharks, turtles, splendid toadfish to the nudibranch and small shrimps. Steph also offered to take pictures of me which was great! The gear was in great shape and the boat and crew were also very nice. Alex at the office was very responsive and great at helping me schedule the dives. Would really recommend Jungle Divers for a great diving experience in Cozumel. Would dive again with them on our next trip to Cozumel!

Just got back from 8 days in Cozumel and 6 days of diving with Jungle divers this being my second trip using them . As usual a great trip all around from setting up the dive schedule with Alex to diving with Stef. The dives were awesome from long drift dives 70 minutes plus to my first night dive which highly I recommend you will see a whole new set of sea creatures compared to a day dive . Pickup from the resort pier was very convenient , the dive boat was large and comfortable and the crew very professional . As always small dive groups for a personal experience and a tasty lunch every day with fresh fruit . Also a quick shout out to dive guide Elena who was great .

We just came back from 10 days diving in Cozumel and are so delighted we ended up going with Jungle Divers. The gear was in great condition, they were super friendly and responsive via email and whatsapp, we never had dive groups bigger than 4, we had detailed dive briefings, food and beer on the boat. Most importantly, always felt like we were in safe hands. Went from AOW with 20 dives to AOW with 36 dives with jungle divers and really learnt a lot from Stef who was happy to give advice.
We did a package which included cenote and night dives and it was absolutely amazing, I would recommend the cenotes over anything else, they are truly beautiful and unique places to dives! I'd thoroughly recommend going with them if you want small groups, long bottom times and great local knowledge.
