We stopped here yesterday as I hadn't been since I was very young. It's so beautiful. The views are stunning & the history very interesting. It's a great way to pass a few hours & we loved the selection in the souvenir shop.

We drove to Glendalough from Dublin (less than an hour). It's so peaceful and the walk to the lakes is just beautiful. Be sure to go to both of them. Ranked high on our list of favorites!

And about, always astounded by the beauty and calm of this neck of the woods. Yes it is out of the way but well worth the time it takes to land here.
