Did an early tour (90 min) and had a great time with our guide Misael. He did a wonderful job of doing everything in English and Spanish. Even if he spoke Spanish to others he would explain their question and tell us what he said in English. This was nice because it was usually about things we wanted to know as well. Learning about the caves and bats was good, but of course the “window” and photos with that were fantastic! He gave us plenty of time to take all the photos we wanted.
Tips: wear closed shoes (uneven ground, rocks and stairs), hair a way that a hard hat will be comfortable, and take good camera.

In mid January 2020, the main cave, Cave of the Wind, is open and it’s worth a look. Amazing view from the opening. But there was a second cave that was supposed to be a part of the tour that is sold on site and it was closed due to the Earthquakes. Supposedly they are afraid the stalactites will fall in the second cave where that’s not a problem in Cave of the Wind. It took about 35 minutes for the whole tour, so if you’re coming from San Juan, suggest pairing it with something else nearby to fill in the rest of your day. It is definitely worth the view, amazing and unique.

Good tour for locals. I would not recommend a day trip for tourists if time is precious and you don’t have a car. Cost is $20. Tour is around 1 hour. Our tour guide was wonderful. Happy we were tourists and explored the caves. I really enjoyed the history. Reservation recommended. Bar/food next to ticket booth. Visit the beach after. It is gorgeous!!!

Without question, a lot of care went into ensuring that visitors got the most out of this relatively short tour, with a strong emphasis on both the flora and fauna (mainly bats) that occupy this interesting place and the need for tourism to have a neutral impact on nature. En route, you see roosting bats; are introduced to the native plants and pre-columbian petroglyphs are revealed. Of course, there is the ventana itself, which is beautiful, along with an unexpected optical illusion seen only in photographs.

If I say that there wasn't anything highly unique about Cueva Ventana, that isn't a criticism, as such, only a caution that those who, like us, have travelled extensively throughout their adult life might be a little underwhelmed by what is mostly an aggregation of medium-interest elements. The emphasis on safety also seemed somewhat overplayed but, hey, this is America and no-one wants to be sued if a visitor gets a grazed knee!

Take note that the meeting place is wrongly identified as KM57. It is, in fact, located at KM58.8 where there is a Texaco garage. Why this has not been corrected is beyond my understanding.

Cueva Ventana in Puerto Rico is an amazing spot! The cave itself is stunning, with breathtaking views at the end that are totally worth the hike. Our guide was fantastic—super helpful and really knew his stuff, making the experience even better. If you're into nature and adventure, this place is a must-visit!

A true MUST do in PR! Our guides (please forgive the name misspelling) Christina and Liz were awesome! So knowledgeable and friendly.

Fair warning: a ton of climbing and going down stairs (some tight spaces) and it can be slippery. The guides do an incredible job of keeping you safe so please listen to everything and they will make sure all goes well. Closed toed shoes are a must.

We saw multiple caves, vista points, bats, spiders, and snakes (again the guide keeps you safe and far from them) to see. The history alone is worth it but the view from the window is worth the trip.

The staff was professional and courteous. Easy to book. We truly enjoined the tour. Natural beauty! Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. If you enjoy nature and a hike, we recommend it! Give yourself extra time to arrive from San Juan. We initially had a 50 minute drive and it took us 1.5 hours to arrive.

I highly recommend this tour. Especially, if you enjoy the outdoors and learning about the ecosystem in Puerto Rico. Our tour guide, Misael was clearly passionate about his job and funny as well. He definitely made the tour an extremely memorable and unique experience. I recommend scheduling an early tour. The walk is totally doable and not too physically challenging. Wear comfortable sneakers (and some you don’t mind getting dirty) and bring water!

Is this the same as Aventura Cueva Ventana? i think it is. They are currently closed and it might be permanent (Hope not). They built a view walkway and word is they didn't have permits to do that. If it's open, please go! it's so breathtaking. IF it's not, try Camuy River Cavern!
