Great for a run as The streets of Taipei are generally not. Keeps you going for about 2km - five rounds make a perfect 10K! There are other runners as well as kids playing and old folks doing taiji.

This is one of my favorite parks in Taipei! It’s a large green space in the middle of the city, perfect for relaxing and strolling.

The Daan park is a tranquil spot, very pleasant to walk through. There's a small pond with birds and benches to sit at.

Nice park with a large playground for (small) kids. There is a running track around the park with a length of just above 2km. Mosquito repellent is being provided at several points. Nice toilets.

It’s Sunday afternoon when I visited the park as a foreign tourist via the convenient Taipei MTR. There were fun and restfulness displayed here and there: family picnics while watching kids playing balls, drum practice not quite in synch yet sounded nice, outdoor paintings in...More

The park is huge with lots of tree but definitely not a forest. Its accessibility is excellent, with MRT Station right by it. Go there on the weekend, you will see lots of people of all ages and activities of all kinds. If you’re a...More

Nice to wander around, or sit in the shade. It is quite a large park, though I would not call it a forest. Maybe that just means it has lots of trees, rather than being just grass. It would be good for visitors if they...More
