This night market is pretty unexpectedly good. Personally felt that there were more shops that cater to the ladies but at least they were selling items that one could really consider buying. Great food stalls scattered around too!

Loads of clothing stores for young 20-something year olds. The area is not crowded or noisy. There wasn't a lot for our kids, except a Lego store, a super cool vintage toy shop (which my husband and I loved!), and eating shaved ice cream.

Hi, I think your itinerary is feasible. Just suggest something to help you better utilise your time time there. After Taipei 101 can consider to go Xin Bei Tou for hotspring before going Dan Shui Old Market, which was what I did when I was there.
