A really nice neighborhood-y place. Laid back, not very crowded and not so pushy with shopping. Attracts a university/student crowd as it is right next to the National Taiwan Normal University.

This night market is pretty unexpectedly good. Personally felt that there were more shops that cater to the ladies but at least they were selling items that one could really consider buying. Great food stalls scattered around too!

We came here last night since it is close to where we are staying. Just want to point out that it is a small local night market compared to Shilin Night Market. So if you want the crazy night market experience and tons of food...More

This market is within walking distance to a residential area and the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) - which is really convenient if you are living nearby. There is a good variety of food - smelly toufu, ice-cream, bakery, milk tea, fruit juice, yong tau...More

This night market is much smaller than the famous ones in Taipei. It covers only a few blocks, so it's great it you don't like the hustle and bustle of most night markets. Food and drink stalls are available, as are a few souvenir stalls,...More

I heard from someone that this night market used to be really popular until the local residents complained about the noise and people so as a result the council cracked down so now its pretty quiet and small compared to the more well known markets...More

Loads of clothing stores for young 20-something year olds. The area is not crowded or noisy. There wasn't a lot for our kids, except a Lego store, a super cool vintage toy shop (which my husband and I loved!), and eating shaved ice cream.

Hi, I think your itinerary is feasible. Just suggest something to help you better utilise your time time there. After Taipei 101 can consider to go Xin Bei Tou for hotspring before going Dan Shui Old Market, which was what I did when I was there.
