Recommending Spicy Ale and Irish Stout. They have flight which you can order 6 small diffirent types of beer with pretty good price. When i was there, it was a little quiet, maybe because of it was a Wednesday night. But i love their vibe anyway. Really want to visit this place again sometimes soon this year

Visited while in Taipei. Great place for local craft beers. Many good beers to try. Limited food availability would definitely visit again

Taipei is very hit and miss the way Taiwanese approach service, especially if your are Western. The second we arrived, we were shouted at by the bar man for leaving the door open, We were shouted again when trying to order and told to sit down. We quickly drank our 2 small glasses of beer ($440) yes would be half that price in Europe and asked to pay, the bill was thrown down on the bar, not a word of thank you when handing the money and he looked the other way when giving the change. No excuse for rude staff Zhang Men, but perhaps the sign on the wall sums up what Zhang Men thinks of its customers. A truly upsetting experience.

Meal: Drinks
Day Visited: Saturday
Budget: NT$ 500
Closest Station: N/A
Reservation Needed?: No
Payment: Cash
Kid Friendly?: No
English Menu?: Yes
We love supporting local breweries, but this one fell just a bit short. It’s a small shop with good overall vibes (save some artless rules and threats of fines).
The beers we tried (all of the IPAs and fruit beers) were so-so, as was the service. The beer flight is a good option, if a bit over-priced.

Not too bad to have a quick fix for your thirst of beers . Lots of beer variety with IPA, cider, Pilsner, craft beer etc.. indoor and outdoor sitting for you to enjoy the beer. Small place and near to lots of eatery place. Don’t drive there as hard to find parking ! Decent price with good beer choices!

Nice place with some excellent craft beers.
Really crowded , was a little lucky to find a seat. As usually on small pubs they have som easy snacks

Service was great, attentive and English friendly. Space is super clean with nice outdoor seating in front. Free wi-fi is displayed above the bar. The beer is all brewed by the company, 16 taps encompassing all styles. I had the IPA, and it was very good. Hoppy and fresh.
Unfortunately, the prices are borderline extortionate. 380 dollars for my pint, roughly 13 US dollars or 11 pounds. For reference, while in other bars of Taipei, we paid 80 dollars for a bottle of local lager, 150 for a bottle of imported Belgian Trappist, and 220 for a pint of craft IPA at the other .
We wanted to stay here for another round, but it's hard to justify paying more for a beer in Taipei than you would in downtown London, so we moved onto the next spot.

Open one year - 16 beers on tap - kegs up stairs - brewery is at xinzi - still illegal to brew on premises in this area of Taipei. Limited food menu - edamame, pizza, sausage, nachos, chicken wings- and limited cooking area/space (but 5+-min walk from Shida night market). But good beer food.
Tried the turbo ipa, double ipa, red ale, honey ale, imperial porter, porter, imperial aged stout. Double IPA is their biggest seller - I'm an ipa guy and not much there compared to say Sculpin- but drinkable. Winner for the evening - imperial aged stout - big balanced coffee, toffee, dry, long finish. Could even try it with the chocolate cake and pistachios on the menu.
When in need of a beer - the best place to go currently in Taipei given the status of Taiwanese beer!!!

I really enjoyed this small beer pub. They had a great list of beers to choose from. I really enjoyed their fruit beers as well as their fries. Happy hour is buy two beers and get one free. The staff spoke excellent English as well. In doors they have the air conditioning on to beat the heat but you can also sit outside on the little patio which is really nice to watch everyone walk by. I really enjoyed this place!
