One of the attractions in Changhua, see how the Trains get into the garage using the circular platform. You only need to spend 10 mins or so to take some photos.

Good to see old Train garage in small place with innovative design
Jul 2019
I had visited this place. This is to park the train engines for repair or maintenance. In small place they can park many engines. The innovative design is wonderful. I think it is almost some 60-70 years old. I came to know there are only 2 garages in world. One in Japan and other one is in Changhu. I am not sure about this. But its wonderful experience to see the technique used in olden days.

Unique
Nov 2018 • Couples
This fan shaped train garage is really unique. There are no more than 3 of such railway still in use in the world. We reached there around 1.30 pm, and we managed to witness how locomotives are stored in old fashion way.

Steam locomotive
Sep 2018 • Solo
Sector Garage attracts not only many children, but also tourists and hobby photographers. As I went there on Sunday, there were many visitors. The entrance is free, but at the entrance you have to register your name. The garage is still in use. For me, a steam locomotive was very impressive.

Locomotives Up Close!
Mar 2018 • Solo
Fascinating train (locomotive) storage facility. The fan-shaped building is unique and most interesting. The rotatable track is remarkable. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to see it in action). What is really amazing about this place is the fact that you can get right up to these massive machines! (Note: you cannot climb on them and there are areas that are off limits). An elevated viewing platform offers a nice overview of the garage and spoke-like tracks. Admission is free. I recommend heading here in the earlier part of the morning if you are interested in getting any decent photos as the mid-late day light is an issue. A great place for kids and adults.

Very interesting train-engine distributor
Feb 2018 • Solo
It has a train engine distributor arrangement for assigning a train engine to one of the 12 garages. The engine goes onto the platform which is then turned to align with one of the twelve garages for maintenance/ storage. Very popular with local students.

Must see place in Zhanghua
Mar 2017 • Friends
It's really close to the Zhanghua station. What you need to do is just walk to the place and see the historical place of trains. You can take a lot of good pictures at there, also having some good snacks around the place.

Amazing to see this in action
Sep 2016 • Solo
I wanted to see this when i passed by Changhua on the way to Lukang but it was closed on that particular day so i returned two days later specially to see this. apparently it is only one of three remaining in the world today. the other two are in Mexico. At the garage you will also see two old locomotive engines, but the highlight was to see the turntable in action. Train engines would stop in the middle while a worker operated the equipment so the train would return along the rails or park in the garage. Entrance is free but you have to show your I.D.. There is a viewing tower so you can look down upon the train engines. There are also a few sculptures made from old engine parts. Certainly worth visiting even if you are not a railway enthusiast.

A historical roundhouse in Taiwan
Mar 2017 • Family
A historical building since 1922. This is the only one roundhouse preserved in Taiwan. You may find the historical steam locomotive CK124 and DT668 at the round house.
