As you walk round the Lotus Lake most of the attractions are on west side, and this is one of them. It's worth a visit and has some beautiful statues.

Enjoy a part of a day walking around a lake with many temples. Places to eat along the way and plenty of public bathrooms. Can be very hot so bring that umbrella and your camera for all the pictures you're going to want to take.

This was our introduction to Kaohsiung. A pleasant walk with lots of fascinating things to see on the way round including dragon boat racing on the day we went.

We did it via a cruise line tour. I think some people went there via taxi. I don't know whether public transport is an option.
