竹東文化藝術村位於竹東火車站旁，佔地不大。但該村保著存過往的懷舊建築，且不過度破壞生長纏繞在建築物上的植物，並在這些破碎的懷舊建築中完美的搭上現代藝術，現代與時代的時間互相融合卻不互搶風采，創造獨一無二的創意建築。

該區域免費參觀，也有餐廳可稍作休息。

而火車站右邊緊鄰著竹東動漫園區，覺得不夠逛的話不妨順道參觀，動漫區需入場門票新台幣一百元。

リノベーションされたちょっとマニアックな雰囲気もある駅前の芸術村。木々もなかなかアートしてる。お店は少ないけど面白かったです。

可以耗上半天的好去處

很棒的園區，過了鐵道有停七停車場，離這裡約100公尺，這天是平日，人不算多，似乎沒有收費。這裡有數間風格各異的咖啡館，像是一起灶、楓鐵道、舊室生活，花布 DIY的有鴻星布行、藝享視界，還有布置小而美的遊客中心，是拍照取景，又可以坐下來閑嗑牙的好地方。

許多空間閒置整潔不夠好

到竹東文創藝術村算很方便，就在台鐵竹東站附近，車站旁也有免費停車場。這邊主要是幾棟荒廢的建築，配合文創造出來的景點，某些整合的還蠻好看的。可是，不知道是招商未完成還是怎樣，許多空間都是閒置著，廁所電梯之類也都貼著故障中，還有許多地方有著棄置的垃圾，讓似乎這邊只剩下拍網美照的功能，有點可惜了。
