Jieshou Park is an urban park in downtown Taipei. Its name is connected with Chiang Kai-shek, former ruler of the Republic of China on Taiwan. There is a statue of Lin Sen, former President of the ROC. In the west of the park is a memorial to the victims of the White Terror. The park was opened to the public in 1964, it is an oasis of green in the Zhongzheng area.

Neighbouring with President office buildings 🏢 and busy roads around. It is green, well maintained, with ponds but you hear 👂 all noise from traffic. It is nice to walk surrounded by trees 🌳 and bushes. Another attraction Taipei guest house 🏠 very close and some minutes to walk to Ximending busy pedestrian shopping 🛍 streets

The park is pleasant with some trees and water features, but it does not have the bird life that some brochures rave about. Some seats and some flowers, so if you are there drop in.

This pleasant park commemorates Lin Sen, a former President of the Republic of China (ROC). It also acknowledges the birthday of Chiang Kai-shek, who was also a long-term president of the ROC. There is also a memorial to victims of the White Terror.

Hidden gem across the street from the side entrance of the 228 Peace Park and Presidential Building. Quaint and peaceful small park tucked away from the busy wide streets. Lots of old trees provide shade and we enjoyed the pond with Koi fish and the Red bridge. Away from the hustle. Highly recommended.

A small inner city park that features a very corroded statue of Lin Sen, a former President of the Republic of China, and a Chinese garden.
