Ruins tell a tale
Oct 2021
These temples are largely ruined, but they tell a tale. The are the remnants of ancestral worship in Taipei, when Taiwan was a Japanese colony (1895-1945). These ruins are worth inspecting, their likeness is rarely found in Taipei or China these days.

Remains of historic temple
Aug 2021
Yuanshan was the site of the main Shinto temple for Taiwan during the Japanese colonial era (1895-1945). It was demolished by the returning Chinese nationalists when Taiwan was retroceded to China. "Yuanshan" meams "Round Mountain" in Chinese. It is the site of the Grand Hotel; Yusanshan is said to have very good feng shui. Some interesting relics of the Shinto temple remain. There are also ruins from the Chinese temple that was established on this site.

he Yuan Shan Ruins are the remains of a Taiwanese temple in traditional style. It is interesting for visitors who may not have seen much of traditional Taiwanese architecture. It's part of Taiwan's heritage.

It's a must to visit some of the amazing ruins in Taiwan. You would absolutely love to learn how their culture started and how they tried to maintain it.

one of the under-reported historical sites
Oct 2017
People from Japan and Mainland China should come and see around here if really want to know Taiwan better. Few visitors know the place, even the locals. You can see the whole Taipei city from the Grand Hotel nearby. Take subway and get off at ZhongShan Station, then walking by 20 minutes to get here.

這個地方很安靜,也許你可以帶本書,找一個地方坐下來。這是一個被大家遺忘的地方,有豐富的故事等你去探索。也是一個談戀愛的好地方。
