the postal museum has a large lobby area where stamp collectors can purchase most of the newer issue Taiwan stamps (Chunghwa Post) from the last several years or more. They also sell stamp collecting souvenirs, specialty postal booklets and albums, and much more. The postal...More

Visited this place on 17 Sept 2015 afternoon. The admission is inexpensive at NTD$5. The museum is located on level 2 to 6 floors. The exhibits are very outdated and disorganized. It lacks interactive and multimedia elements, therefore I find it a very boring visit....More

I agree with most other reviewers that the Postal Museum is not a "must see" attraction but is fine if you happen to be in the area. Admission was NT$10 and not NT$5 as some have reported, but given the difference is only US $0.16...More

We visited the Postal Museum on a very rainy day. From the Chiang Kai Shek station, you'll have to walk some 550m. For most part the sidewalks are covered. Entrance was NT$4 each to explore 4 levels of stamps and stamping history. I went with...More

The museum is admittedly very outdated. While some recent Taiwanese stamps are on display, the international collection has barely been updated since the mid-90s. The interactive displays for kids all look like they were built in the 80s. The sorting machines on display is probably...More

Looking for something to do on a (frequent) rainy day in Taipei. This is a great place with a super-friendly staff. The history of the Chinese postal system is examined. Absolutely fabulous collection of stamps. When we visited, there was an art exhibition on one...More

This is museum is 10-15 minute walk from the C.K.S Memorial Hall MRT stop, taking exit 2, that comes out by NanHai Street. (There is also an interesting market Nanmen, right there, that is interesting to see.) Walk down NanHai street, it is on one's...More

This place not worth to visit since inside is not well organise. Don't expect many valuable stamps and detail explanation, even though large inside and just near the popular central plaza, don't spend time to this place. Outside many stamp shops are more worth to...More

We went on a school field trip with my daughter's 2nd grade class. They do have a cool model showing the postal distribution system in Taiwan. They also had a collector's exhibit which was also very impressive, but you have to be crazy about stamps,...More
