    Imposing building a national treasure
The National Theater is in the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall precinct, flanked by Liberty Square, It is luxuriously appointed, a treasure for the people of Taiwan. It is used for significant functions, I have visited the National Theater for a performance, the acoustics are superb. The foyer is open for inspection.

    Theater is truly memorable
This theatre is located in the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall garden. It is a wonderful building, which had red and gold, China's most auspicious tints, as its dominant colors. The theatre is used for major civic and theatrical events. Its architecture echoes traditional Chinese designs; this theatre complex is truly memorable.

    Gorgeous, colourful, very well-organized!
The architecture of this building is impressive, monumental! It is very Taiwanese! We saw a performance with puppets. I simply loved it! The scenarios, the organization, the restaurants, and shops inside the building, the price, everything is simply perfect! You can get tickets easily at the entrance or you may ask the hotel to help you. I was very impressed the National Theatre!

    Worth a photo
The National Theatre is at the entrance to the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. You would not go just to see the theatre, but of course it is worth a look when on a visit to the Memorial Hall (which is a must do). Of course if you are coming for a performance that's another story! We sat outside the theatr entrance and had a coffee watching an acrobatic dance troupe practise in front of the doors.

    A World-Class Venue
Not only have I attended concerts here, I have also -performed- here. From both an audience member's perspective as well as a performer's perspective, the venue is professionally run with highly knowledgeable staff in all areas.

Impressive buildings, traditional architecture on a grand scale.
The two theatre buildings dominate the beginning of freedom square. Impressive in their scale and beauty.

Within Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Park
This is a grand building and looks beautiful at night when lit up. During the day, we saw youngsters practising modern dances in the corridors and there seem to be some sort of event inside.

The National Theatre adjoins the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The colours of red and gold, which are auspicious in Chinese culture, predominate. The theatre is used for performances such as music and drama. The CKS Memorial Hall MRT stop is close by.
