About
As the first station mall of Taiwan, Breeze provide a relaxing area to pamper travelers with quality food that satisfies more than the taste buds. The lines of shops offer souvenirs and gift items of local Taiwanese characteristics. While waiting for the next journey to start, a walk around will come with nice discoveries. At Breeze, travelers find themselves lingering than hasting.

Train station mall with a good food court
Dec 2019
Taipei Station is the central terminus for several train-based services serving the city and the whole of the country. Servicing the numerous pasengers and visitors that pass through the station requires a mall, and Breeze fills that role. Spanning several floors from the underground portion (where the rail lines run) to a floor above the expansive main atrium, it's a convenient place to try out some local and international fare before or after a trip, or simply because you're there. We had other priorities but did at least have a chance to eat at the food court where our favourite experience were the local cold and hot local desserts.

Awesome Food Floor at Taipei Train Station
Jan 2020
Breeze Gourmet Heaven is the actual name of the second level at Taipei Train Station. It is a walk around in a rectangle which features many restaurants and food court restaurants. At some restaurants you can look down onto the vast first floor of the train station, usually occupied by waiting train travellers.

There are also many bakeries, snack food and coffee shops as you walk around the rectangular 2nd floor.

Food court offerings are very affordable here, but restaurants tend to cost more, for obvious reasons.

Breeze is always a favourite of mine for meals in food court restaurants.

Fantastic train station with good eateries
Nov 2018 • Family
This is the main train terminal but with lots to eat on the ground floor and upper floor ranging from Taiwanese take out steamed bun stores to western sit down restaurants. Dotted along the 1/F corridor were also little gift stalls for trendy souvenirs.

The station is fairly big and busy. The bathrooms in the basement were clean and well maintained.

Homeless people loitering around before the dawn
Sep 2018
Not knowing what to expect this place in the early morning while waiting for my TRA train to Tainan, there are a lot of elderly homeless people, laying on the floor. The building itself is really amazing because the interior is cooler than outside even though there is no air-conditioning and there was raining outside. The building material and design are really amazing. However, I feel that there are some social problem hiding behind the scene where many homeless people are staying these area before dawn and after the dusk. The City government needs to think of a way to handle such problem.

When you have time to kill at Taipei Main Station
Jul 2018 • Solo
This is a two-storey mall within Taipei Main Station with a host of dining options and little stalls selling snacks and souvenirs. You won’t go hungry here!

Perfect for roaming around on a rainy day or a hot and humid day!

I came to taipe for 2 weeks. This station was good. They have nice ice cream. Wide food court but they didn’t provide you a place to eat, you need to eat at the hall but its good.

Convenience when you need it.
Apr 2018 • Friends
Breeze is Taiwan's answer to the local department store chain. In addition to the department stores, malls, they have standalone shops scattered all over. Taipei Main, the train station has them dotted all over the main floor area and upstairs where the restaurants are. You can find anything from hot cooked food, to coffee/desserts and boxed souvenir cookies, cakes and chocolates. Remember the area you are in when comparing prices. Convenience comes with a cost. Browse to your hearts content. Look for them all over the train station.

An one stop place to have meal, to taste desserts/bakeries; and to buy souvenir.
Aug 2017 • Solo
Not only a Station, It is an one stop place to have meal, to taste Taiwanese desserts/bakeries; and to buy souvenir.

The ground floor includes the main hall of Taipei Station, restaurants, bakeries and souvenir shops. The second floor (floor 1 in European system) is a big food court, filled with lots of familiar eateries- Taiwanese, Japanese, Asian and Western cuisine.

Floor B1 includes the entrance to the platforms of High Speed Rail, Taiwan Railway and MRT (Red line and Blue line).

There are underground passages which link to many underground Malls, shopping districts and food courts.

Also, very importantly, the whole areas are air-conditioned.

Everything you need and want to eat
Jun 2017 • Couples
Breeze is a breeze! you can eat anything from pizza to dimsum. We tried Dimsum Dimsum and the service was excellent along with the food. On the second floor of the main station this place is a worth while stop if you are hungry.
