二二八和平公園内

二二八和平公園内の北側にある像です。孔子の像ですが、結構地味な感じで置かれています。普通に通り過ぎる人が多かったです。

２-２８公園にある孔子の像。片隅にあるためあまり人も多くないです。孔子が弟子に講学の際、杏の木の下で教えたといわれることを記念して名づけられている。

二二八公園の中にある孔子像である

台北駅からぶらぶらと歩いていたら、公園に遭遇し、この像が目に止まった。始めは何の像か、判らなかったが、碑文を見たら、孔子の像であることが判った。孔子は教師であり、その教育場所に杏の樹が植えられていたことから、一般的に儒教を教える場所をこの名前で呼ぶことになったとか。

築１００年以上は超えようとしており、二二八平和公園付近にありました。
