This small park is dedicated to communal peace in Taiwan. The park is picturesque and easy to get to. It commemorates the uprising of the native Taiwanese against the corrupt mainland Chinese in 1947, These days, communal harmony predominates in Taiwan. It's near the NTU Hospital station on the Red Line.

Peace Park is dedicated to harmony between the communal groups in Taiwan. It is also dedicated to those who lost their lives in the revolt of 28 February 1947 against Kuomintang rule. Hundreds, if not thousands of Taiwanese died. It's a good place to chill. It's near the NTNU Hospital station on the MRT Red Line.

Love this little park for a run or a walk amidst the busy Taipei. Very close to the MRT red line at tne NTU hospital station. You can get off there and walk to the Chiang K-Shek area.

In 228 Peace Park, are a number of statutes dedicated to peace. Take the MRT red line to NTU Hospital station, take exit 1 or 3 and you will be right in the park. It is a small park and easily done in an hour. In the park is also the National Taiwan Museum, also worth visiting. About 1$ US. Can beat that price. Anyway, the park is beautiful. You can see my review of it. In this park are a number of statutes. See my pics. I gather they are all dedicated to peace as this is called Peace Park.
