Revolver is a unique style bar and music venue providing the alternative side of Taiwan with a place to rock & roll, meet and greet since 2010. Come and enjoy the atmosphere whilst drinking from a large range of local and craft beers from all over the world. Our cocktails are amazing too! Great beer selection, but service was lacking. The person who brought my beer was overly aggressive in asking for payment (please give me a second to reach into my pocket for my wallet...) and all the bartenders were eating food behind the bar last night, which is unprofessional.

Small bar with tables outside, some on first floor and some on second floor. Had two great local draft beers. You can buy beer to go which is fantastic if you are looking for imports- they have beers from several American microbreweries including Modern Times. I’d describe the spot as more dive than upscale- would go back for sure for a concert as it was pretty quiet when we went (live music calendar us available on their site). Probably saw more expats there than in any other place I went to in Taipei!

This is a great bar sitting just across the road from the Chiang Kai Shek memorial. The lower floor is a small pub with outdoor seating. Upstairs is a larger performance space and often has live music, so it's worth seeing who's playing while you're in town if you'd like to check out some music.
The atmosphere in the bar is very friendly, and they have Taiwan Beer on tap, so it's worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Admittedly we had high hopes for Revolver and all the elements are there: close to an MRT, good selection of beers and live music. Lots of live music.
There are two reasons for my 2-star rating. Firstly the staff are unfriendly. Secondly the staff don’t seem to get along with each other, which led to us witnessing at least two unpleasant moments. Just needs a skilled manager to sort it out. And thirdly, they allow smoking inside. Not only is this against the law in Taiwan, it is downright disgusting and meant that we had a most unpleasant experience.
Please post here when you enforce the no-smoking inside law, and we will return. But not before.

My favourite music venue in Taipei. I've attended hundreds of gigs here and even organised a few myself. It also has a great bar with an amazing array of beers, mixed drinks and snacks.

A not so bad place to visit. I did enjoy the environment there is Revolver, the first floor will serve you drink as a usual bar/pub with a good price. The second floor is the place for live music, a not so big place but it's alright. I would recommend this place if you want to have some good beer with friends or if you want to meet foreigners. Beware of smoking atmosphere :D.

Very crowded and sometimes the music is too loud but otherwise my favorite bar in Taipei. Nice feeling and they have live music at times. They have a dj who plays vinyls which is great. The prices aren't too high either. Some seats but I would count on getting a spot there. Mostly international people there so is a great place to meet new people!

Revolver is the anchor for Taipei's underground music scene. Live music most days of the weeks and a diverse lineup of underground rock, indie, metal, and electronic music. Also, Taipei's most reasonably priced craft beers.

Healthy mix of both locals and exapts converge here for good live music and great drinks. Easy place to swing by any night of the week solo or to meet friends or make new ones.

Where is the nearest MRT station and can I walk from there?

Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station, Exit 5. walk about less than 10mins, you have to cross the street. Revolver is around the corner. Hopefully, it helps. Sorry for the late response. ^^
