Tranquility amidst a busy city

An old Japanese style house turned into a privately-ran library. Visit is by appointment only which can be done online. In each session, there will be a short guided tour and then you will be left on your own to explore and admire the place and do some reading. At the end of the session, you will be served with a cup of coffee and biscuits.

The house has been beautifully reinstated. A good place to spend an afternoon immersed with the smell of books and hinoki.

Highly recommended.
