I love everything about it! The pre-program activities were interactive and fun. You’d get to see the actors doing their make up, have your photo taken with them, have your face painted and of course, try the traditional Taiwanese pre-wedding costume. The staff were amazing!...More

I bought tickets for the acrobat show which only showed on Saturday evenings (more expensive). There were other shows like chinese opera on weekdays which were cheaper but because my kids did not understand the language, I booked the acrobat show which was more expensive...More

Having seen a Chinese Opera in Chengdu, we were anxious to visit another one. We sat enthralled for the hour performance! I don't believe there's a bad seat in the house, since it's stadium seating. They offer subtitles in English (as well as Chinese, Japanese...More

Great way to spend an hour. So much show for such a low price. The combination of playful acting, excellent acrobats, ancient stories and traditional Chinese opera is good for all ages. There are subtitles in 4 languages on large screens next to the stage...More

A very cool way to have a taste of local culture. The tickets are not expensive and I feel the production was worth what I paid. There's a bit of a "low-budget" production-feel, but it was still a cool show to watch if you've never...More

This is the BEST place to experience traditional Chinese culture in what is otherwise a very modern city and was my favorite experience in Taiwan. I didn't expect this theater to be so upscale and organized. We went and saw "Gold Coin Lion" and were...More

We watched a Chinese opera at Taipeieye. We booked the tickets and paid for it online and was easy to pick up tickets at the box office. I hadn't read any reviews and never watched Chinese opera (though have watched a lot of European Opera)...More

So first, the obvious: This is a show meant for tourists. But this should not detract you. Although the audience is almost all foreigners, the show is very good, and this opera style is obviously a big part of Taiwanese heritage and you should explore...More

Stumbled on to this via TripAdvisor. High quality performances by people who are clearly passionate about the show. We had a 90 minute show including intermission. Acrobatics and martial arts demonstration was top notch!
