Overview
More
Formosa Aboriginal Cultural Village has the largest outdoor museum in Taiwan dedicated to displaying the traditional homes and architecture of Taiwanese indigenous tribes. The nine villages are arrayed over an expansive section of hillside to give visitors a feel of what native Taiwanese villages looked like so many years ago. All buildings were reconstructed based on fieldwork research and blueprints drawn up by anthropologists in the 1930s and 40s.

At entrance you will have chance to go by slings to the top of it then on the way down many attractive destinations holding you on. Not so many playgrounds so don't expect it like Disneyland or something alike. But you have chance to see...More

This is a very large park with many excellent displays of the various tribes that inhabited the island. You could easily spend all day looking around and enjoying the fabulous gardens.

When we arrived by car we were a bit disappointed as we expected Formosan Culture and not some kind of Disneyland attraction. However when walking through the huge area it changed our mind. We had fun doing some rides and enjoyed the European Palace Garden...More

Saw this on a cloudy, windy day, after a visit to Sun Moon Lake where nothing was visible due to fog and cloud. This is by far the best reason to visit the area! Taking a tram ride to the top of the park, it's...More

Aside from the thrilling rides, you can get to learn the ways of the aborigines too plus cherry blossom and the best part is the cable car to sun moon lake!
