High quality DIY space and shop
Dec 2019 • Family
My teens really enjoyed the DIY pottery. Staff were attentive and made sure their products turned out. I enjoyed the coffee and shop.

Very nice place!
Nov 2019 • Couples
Really beautifull place with products which really stand out. The products are made on side and represent the Yingge history/culture. Besides the products and the DIY pottery course the coffee is also great, which is a pro for a European traveller ;)

We went here on a rainy day in November, unexpected discovery in this town.

Great experience! Patient teacher.
Oct 2019
My daughter attended the pottery throwing class. The teacher is very patient and accomodating. She really enjoyed the class. Unfortunately you will need to wait 2 months before the piece is ready and if you don't live in Taiwan the delivery is costly. She was happy for the experience and already had been prewarned that we would not be taking the piece home so we just took photoes.

Passion for ceramics
Aug 2019
It's a great place, run by great people!
Where, in addition to professional, very patient and warm ceramics teachers, you can drink excellent coffee and eat a delicious cake!
Your children will not want to leave and the time will definitely pass too quickly.

I would definitely recommend !!!

So much fun!!!
Jun 2019 • Friends
We went in on a whim on a rainy day and made some pottery for the first time ever and had so much fun! The delivery is somewhat expensive, but the experience is definitely worth it. They are super patient and our lady was a hoot with tons of sarcasm making us laugh the entire time!

Great place for young and old

We had a lot of fun on a rainy day with a group aged between 3 and 65. Mosaic tile photo frames were great for the little ones.

Make Your Own Pottery!
Oct 2018 • Friends
Shu's pottery has a DIY section for pottery. Strongly suggest to reserve your seats in advance. They have a whole section with MANY pottery wheels. They have teachers to show you how to do it, and then to help you throughout the whole process. They recycle their clay, so you can use as much as you want to. Once you've finished shaping your pottery, you go off to the decoration tables. They provide you with more clay and cookie cutters, so you can add on hearts, stars, etc. Or you can carve text into your pottery. Finally, if you choose to have it fired up, they allow you to choose a color scheme as well. They do offer delivery. They were very friendly, very helpful and very accommodating to our many changes of plans (we had a work outing)
If you have never done pottery before, this would be a must-go on your visit!

Pottery - Have a go!
Feb 2018 • Family
Had a great afternoon out at Yingge. Travelled there on the local railway - took about 30 minutes from Taipei Main Station. Shu’s is a smart pottery place that is well set up to have a go. There was a teacher that spoke English and went through the instructions for us and to show us how to use the wheel. We had 30 - 40 minutes with lots of people to help when needed. Once finished you could keep them, have them glazed and then delivered to your location in Taiwan (takes about 2 months).
