Two of the most important things for good feng shui -- the Chinese study of the environment, based on wind and water -- are flowing water and mountains. It is no accident that the Shrine of Eternal Spring has excellent feng shui. The waterfalls usually flow well, because Taroko Gorge gets lots of rain. By the way, the Shrine is dedicated to the 212 veterans who died building the Central Cross Isand HIhgway.

Beautiful waterfalls in Taroko park. It was a part of our walking tours in Taroko Gorge and national park. We stopped there to enjoy watching the waterfalls and take some pictures.
