Celebrating the best of local and international design, the Taiwan Design Museum occupies several connected spaces in the old Tobacco Factory at the heart of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. The changing displays covering product, graphics and experience design are worth a visit for inspiration and would make a good destination for families with teeenagers on a rainy day.

The entry fee for this museum is $50 NT which is roughly $2 CDN.

It's a small museum with various items, some seemingly plain and not deserving of being museum worthy and others quite interesting.

There are lots of items that can also be touched, played with, sat upon and some items can be powered on for more interactivity. Some items had dead batteries / no power.

My wife and I spent less than an hour inside and then continued into the design store directly across from the museum which might have felt more fun as things were available for purchase.

Not a must see, but okay if you're in the area.

It's a small "museum" that's actually more like a store since most of the items are for sale. For those who love well-designed functional things, this place is amazing. I bought a few things that were just really gorgeous; be warned that it's easy to overspend here!

This is a small design Museum with in the ground of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, the entry fee is $150. All the designs have won awards some are only prototypes or scaled down models, many of the item on display can be purchased from the Design shop in the some complex. You also can take photos, the volunteers are also very helpfully .

Nice room with city view, Close to night market, just a few steps to famous food stalls, and not far from the second market. Strongly recommended.

This is a place where designers are happy to be.

Many great designed products are shown here. The building is a legacy, built during Japanese colonial time in early 20th century.

This museum is showing products that got the Red Dot Design Award. The museum is not too big but has a good selection of different products (watches, chairs, bikes, clothes). If you´re into design, you will like it here.
