Always wanted to visit the lavender cottage because of the background story. Once upon a time, two herb-loving good friends tired after working for years and decided to quit their jobs and start new lives as farmers. Where else to visit with my bff but...More

Should make use of the voucher to dine in at the restaurant. Very relaxing to eat and enjoy the tea. Walk around the cottage is very cool. Halfway thru, it rained and stopped. Not too hot, nice place to take pictures.

A nice and relaxing place with lavenders to see if it is the right season. You could try out their restaurant serving nice hot meal.

Visited the place with 2 young kids and they were thrilled at taking the carousel which ran every half hourly. Nothing else much to do there but it provides a fantastic environment to just chill, drink coffee and relax. The cafe was reasonably priced and...More

This is one of our most disappointing visit of our Taichung trip. As I had done my review online saying this is a must visit in Taichung, we made a stopover and road leading to this Lavender Cottage is super narrow (1 car accessible) and...More

Roads leading to the place is terribly bendy, standby motion sickness pills if you do have! I suffered from terrible motion sickness despite being on dimenhydrinate 50mg. Fortunate to reach the place in one piece. Despite the nausea, the place was beautifully done up with...More

You'll need a cab to go here, because this is not along the bus or train routes, but this is a must visit. There is an entrance fee, but they give part of it back in tokens you can use inside the complex (they have...More

Situated quite a distance from Taichung- do give yourself about an hour ride one way to the location. It’s quite serene and peaceful. Watch out of the time when lavender blooms; else will be disappointed. There’s a forest trail that takes about 1.5 hours to...More

Before driving the long distance to this place, we called in advance to check if we could see any lavender. We're informed that it was the right time as the lavender was in full bloom. Imagine our disappointment in seeing limited lavender. We were even...More

I think the place is relaxing for the elders. However, they won't be able to reach the places that requires a little walk (like the area of the bell and place where you write a wish on a leaf shaped paper). But don't worry... More

Hello! Dont recall have, but you can smoke around the cafe area. near the carousel. no park rangers around to stop you or watch you, so I guess it's fine.
