We sat at the bar to get a better view, these guys were non-stop action including some fancy shaker and glass work. The drinks ranged from ridiculous to fantastic, but all were done with skill. We were told we needed a reservation and would be denied entry if we weren't exactly on time, but that wasn't 100% true. There was also a question of whether my Birkernstocks were "flipflops" which are forbidden, but that was resolved. The movie posters outside definitely helped camuflage the front door

It took a bit of walking past and backwards to locate the obscure looking entrance but once you enter, it’s an enclave that stimulates your senses.

Wonderful concoctions and if you want something not on the menu, bespoke is available.

A gem 💎

I fully expected this to be a kitschy gimmicky place, but their drinks were some of the most solid, maximalist, creative mixology cocktails I've tasted around the world -- especially the Ximending (served in a Chinese teacup) and the Hero's Wine (served in a bottle). Basically any cocktail with Taiwanese ingredients like Kao Liang wine and tea infusions you should get! The goofier, Western pop culture-themed are less solid (the Grey's Anatomy comes with a hilarious medical kit, but it literally tastes like limp bandages... they went a little too experimental / goofy with that one).

There's a winking, cartoonish Chinoiseries at work here that they've fully embraced with a great sense of humor. The speakeasy concept is fun, but never exclusive -- they warmly welcome anyone who's found a way to weasel into their doors. Hint: yes, if you see a faux old theater, you're at the right place ;).

We went here on Saturday night and can't find the entrance of the bar. We have to use another app aside from google map just to make sure we were on the right location. We waited for atleast 10 minutes until some group of locals pressed something on the wall and the door opened.

We went inside and it was really crowded. Most of the people inside were locals. We asked a waiter if there was an available table but there's none so we tried waiting. There were 2 available chairs at the counter area but the waiter said it's taken already. When one of the table got unoccupied the waiter prioritized this group of locals waiting next to us.

It was frustating on our part since we are foreigners in this place. We just left the bar and look for another one.

Nice cocktail bar, bartender were friendly and nice. However the waitress was not very friendly and just because I wasn’t fully party dressed up kind she just particularly didn’t care much. Customers are basically treated the way they were dressed and that’s practically unfair?

Only stayed for a very short time since I wasn’t very welcomed as a solo visitor. Had two drinks, tastes nice but when it comes to alcohol content it’s very weak. Their stronger ones are the typical classic cocktails but I wanted more interesting ones. Do go with an open mind and don’t expect the cocktails to be strong.

Easy to find if you have a navigation app (like waze or google maps). Went on a Sunday night and Hanko 60 had an average crowd, not too full, not empty either. The staff are accommodating and even gives reasonable suggestions on which drink to get. The bar's decors are nice too and the facilities (like the washroom) are clean.

The most interesting bar I have been to so far. Went pass the main entrance as it was so well designed to look like a wall. Pressed a secret button on the side before the door opened like some spy movie.

Before entering You feel like you are stepping into some underground exclusive club. Super awesome feeling.

The bar has so many types of drinks. Each one more and more interesting then before. Some looks like blood bags, some are designed to look like a dessert and my most favourite is the Hero Wine.

Drinking it makes me feel like some ancient Chinese kungfu hero. I just want to smash the bottle, shout hoorah and challenge someone to a arm wrestle.

The only con was that u can’t play any hand games or drinking games. U better drink like a gentlemen or gtfo.

Will still return to feel like a hero.
