The Mr Brown Coffee in Toucheng (the one which is right on the Wai'ao beach) is a very good place to sip a coffee or a tea in front of the Pacific Ocean. It is wonderful before or after a walk on the beach or a swim in the sea. There are showers at the front. You can also get a waffle or a snack of that kind, but don't expect too much else to eat. It's not a restaurant.
