The temple is actually covered in bleached coral rock. Its odd organic shape and character reminds me of Catalan Artist, Antoni Gaudi and his La Sagrada Familia Church in Barcelona. The inaccessible Buddha statue is hidden at the top and covered in the front with plexiglass plastic. No photographic opportunity there. The road to the temple winds and is behind the Gangshan mountain area, an enjoyable drive out of town with not too much traffic. Overall, an interesting diversion if you are in the area.
