The area
Neighborhood: Tamsui / Bali District
The enchanting Tamsui Old Street boasts the most beautiful Fisherman’s Wharf sunset of Taiwan. There are also well-complimented delectable snacks such as Ah Gei (bean curd) and fish ball, etc. On Bali left bank, there is the Ferry Old Street and Wazihwei Nature Reserve. It is relaxing and comfortable whether by strolling or cruising through on a bike. Besides the bustling business district, Tamsui is also full of an old vintage flavor. From western architectural relics to residences dating back to Japanese rule, each with their respective features and great stories to tell. If you visit Tamsui in spring, the magnificent cherry blossoms of Tianyuan Palace are a must see. If you wish for further intimacy with nature, why not camp out for the night under the starry sky. The Bali culture park camping site offers round, transparent bubble tents. Experience the close, seamless connection to surrounding nature from within for an unforgettable memory.

時序三月，各種櫻花陸續盛開，聽聞天元宮附近、已隸屬陽明山國家公園區域的「楓樹湖」，除了櫻花，還有較為少見的「木蓮花」，特來探看！
因山上停車較有問題，改騎機車前來。第一次來，很容易與天元宮相距1K、路口寫有「楓樹湖再生農業園區」的牌樓擦身而過，過而復返由牌樓交叉路口轉進，一路坡度向上，經過「百年茄冬樹」，山路持續向上蜿蜒，後來才知道路可一路上達可遠眺至海的觀景台，首次來到，路況不明，將機車停在半路平台空地，走一樣可通往觀景台的山徑階梯向上，途中路旁首見「木蓮花」，果然花形像是長在樹上的蓮花，清新動人！
觀景台旁有私人經營的「巨石花園」，入內需可抵消費的「60元清潔費」，門口有大株墨染櫻可以欣賞，花園內種有「木蓮花」與茶花，觀景台週邊私人農園也有種「木蓮花」，可在路邊遠觀欣賞！
「巨石公園」旁繼續上登的階梯，路標標示為「楓樹湖古道」，走到路底，有「楓樹湖桃花源」石屋，一旁溪谷櫻花林，繁花盛開，煥發盎然生命力，傳遞春天氣息，令人讚嘆，可謂秘境～

回程在「百年茄冬樹」暫歇，時正黃昏，樹幹壯碩、枝繁葉茂的老樹，在夕陽餘暉中，展現特有的老樹風華，生意盎然！
觀察「楓樹湖」的道路，若開車前來，約1.5K的山路，適合停車的位置極少，較適合搭公車健行上走，或騎機車會較為靈活自在，或也正因如此，才能在花季中，仍保有秘境的氛圍！

賞花爬山秘境
第一次看到木蘭花，
建議搭乘公車或騎機車，
開車停車不方便。
爬山步道安全小孩也可以一起爬，
爬到中間還有人賣地瓜湯可以中場休息
（雖然好像不需要休息的距離），
下次除了三芝賞櫻也可到此一遊喔！

景色優美，空氣好。因季節關係這次沒有看到盛開的木蓮花，但滿山的樹林跟不多的遊客，散步起來很舒服，非常推薦呢

淡水楓樹湖長背們口耳相傳的賞花好去處，離淡水天元宮不遠，花計也剛好是2-3月附近，騎車開車往天元宮後直走一段路後會看到右邊這一個牌樓寫著【楓樹湖金花石蒜專區】進入往上繼續開即可，首先會先看到一大片木蓮花，非常優雅和美麗，邊走邊賞花也沒有攤販小吃叫賣所以不吵雜，來到這心情格外平靜，在往上走還會看到「大富士櫻」的盛開，遠看是白色一片櫻花，和天元宮的吉野櫻又是不同特色的美，騎車上山腰後開始健行，全程來回走完大約1-1.5小時，非常舒服，建議自帶水上去，沿途是美麗風景沒有小販喔！
