淡水街長多田栄吉故居は、台湾・新北市淡水区の高台にある日本式住居。
多田栄吉さんは神戸出身、淡水街の第4代街長[区長](1930～1933)を務め
1934年にこの家を建てたそうです。
臺灣基督長老教會淡水教會から馬偕街を北西へ小白宮へ行く途中、
陸橋を渡ったところにあります。
2014年から修復が始まり、2016年7月に一般公開されました。
見学無料です。室内も復元され、見学ができます。
webによっては「室内見学は予約が必要」とするものもありますが
2016年9月に訪れた際には予約なしで室内も見学できました。
室内には鬼瓦や貨幣、手紙などが展示されていました。
高台にあるので海風が気持ち良いです。

Now that the corona virus has calmed down, I was finally able to go to Tamsui. It was tough to climb up the hill from the coast. This is the former home of Eikichi Tada, who lived in Taiwan for 40 years before the war and became a successful man. I wonder if he was remembering Japan from the hilltop overlooking the sea?

台湾は湿気が多いので、木の家屋は保存が大変ではないかなと思いました。ふすまも、畳もありましたが、畳は結構茶色くなっていました

台北に滞在中、淡水を訪れた際にこちらの場所へ立ち寄りました。高台に位置する淡水の街長だった多田栄吉の故居だった家屋で、日本式の建築はきれいに保存されていました。

紅毛城から淡水遊歩道へ散策している途中、偶然に通りがかり見学出来ました。日本統治時代の日本式住居。1930～1933年に淡水街の第4代街長（現在の区長に相当）を務めた多田栄吉が建設したもので、1934年に完成。敷地面積は約100坪に上る。建材にはタイワンベニヒノキが使用された。と説明書きがありました。随分と丁寧に保存されているのを感じで感動を覚えました。良い物を見せていただいてありがとうございました。

這個景點是可以免費參觀的，整個庭園跟建築都保持著日式的風味，並沒有因為淡水熙來攘往的觀光客而走樣，幅員很小，可以馬上就逛完，感覺還不錯。

整個建築非常日式。交通部分離捷運站滿進的，走路即可抵達。雖然是假日但人不多，非常清幽。很適合和朋友去走走，拍幾張照。

老街を散策している途中で見つけたので行ってみました。
高台にある小さい日本建築の家でした。
景色も良く、博物館もこの近くにありましたのでセットで観光するのが良いでしょう。
