Not worth the trip uphill for street food and a regular electric train coming from a tunnel. The view of the ocean is also obstructed by electrical lines.

Station with View
Jan 2019
Historic train station on Taiwan's south-east coast. Walk about 10 minutes from coastal highway and follow signs up the hill.. There are food stalls. Ocean view is superb. If you're lucky, you see the train whiz by.

Colourful and spectacular train station in East Taiwan
Aug 2018
This train station is located in the south of Taitung, and it is a bit far away from the town centre. Tourists need to drive or take a taxi to this station. There is a lookout area for people to see the whole view of this station and the Pacific Ocean. If the weather is nice, you can see the colourful decoration, blue sky and ocean. This station is still operating, and sometimes you can see the train pass through this station; hence, please be careful when you are taking photos on the platform.

An old train station Nice ocean view
Sep 2018 • Friends
On our way back, we stopped by to check this old train station out, the view is fantastic to show both the blue sky and ocean water of Taiwan southeast coast view. There are a lot of food stands but probably open only for weekends and holidays. Apparently, the place has not been well maintained to make it even better.

Go only if you have time
Jun 2018 • Family
It is not a very big area. For the day we went, it was cloudy, thus the site didn’t look as magnificent as touted. Plus, as there are some constructions going on in the area, it sort of spoilt the beauty of it. As it is a little out of the way, would recommend going only if you have time.

A small site
May 2018 • Friends
Better drive to here and park your car down on the road, you can’t drive up there near the station. It’s a small tourist site, you can see the tracks by the sea which is quite beautiful especially when the train passing through... there are some food vendors selling aboriginal treats do not hesitate to try some and enjoy!

Drop by if you are passing by this road
Jul 2017 • Couples
Facing the pacific ocean makes tis Duoliang train station famous, with a train passing by you may feel the moment of a little bit worth to be here, otherwise is nothing to see. Driving from Taitung city takes about an hour to reach, car park at the road side and walk climb a bit slope but won't be strain, so frankly suggest if you are on the way passing by you may stop by to have a look, then is not need to make a special trip to here.

令人感動的美! Touching, beautiful scenery
Jul 2016 • Solo
Defunct Duoliang Station had been a famous attraction to many of Taiwanese, especially when I decided to go travel round the island. Even I've been heard (and saw pictures) quite a few about it, I was still thrilled seeing her in person. Along the way I enjoyed so much the sea breeze and the beautiful sunlight. Suggest to take it slow (taking a short walk or cycling a bit) so that you may immerse yourself in the peaceful scenery.

Most scenic train station of Taiwan
Nov 2016 • Couples
The view of the station is as what the title says: Most scenic train station view facing the Pacific Ocean. If you are touring the coastal route on the eastern Taiwan, this venue is a must to visit. You may need to spend about 15mins walking up the steep slope to reach the viewing platform. Do wait for a train to pass by to snap a memorable picture. Frequency is estimated about every 30mins.
