According to our driver, certain time of the day they actually sell live fishes that just caught minutes ago. We missed that time but the sea food that we saw there were fresh nonetheless! It's interesting to see different types of local fishes that they eat and also some weird shellfish. Not a fish expect myself, the fish stall staffs were friendly and helped to recommend different seafood and ways of cooking them. At a very reasonable cost, we bought some and brought them to a sea food restaurant nearby that cooks for a reasonable cost. We had a very enjoyable meal!

It is recommended that you buy your own fish in the nearby fish market and bring it to the restaurant to cook. Though a cooking fee is charged but you are assured of the food freshness. The cooking fee is reasonable, and you can get some good advice from the shopkeeper. For instance, we were advised to make soup with the smaller fish we bought; and that turned out to be the sweetest fish soup we have taken. The kitchen is fairly clean and the place is fairly hygienic..
