After we finish our time together you will have insight into the meaning of some of Taichung’s most significant and historical places. They say language is the key to culture, but learning a language is a years long endeavor. After our time together you will leave with another key to the culture of Taiwan through learning about the symbols and stories they have left to be passed on.

For more information or questions, contact us by email.

The dinosaurs section alone is worth the price of admission... not that it's pricey anyway. There are just so much to see here. Curious parents and kids can get lost for hours in this huge museum. Maybe the best of its kind in Taiwan.

I used to visit this place since I was a small kid, but now when I returned to this place after two years. I found out this place getting nothing to see. This place used to be full of people but this time there were the least of people. The place was old and all the information on the walls was all dropping or been tearing into pieces, some of the words can't even read it because all were blurred. And for about a few years, still not a lot of ENGLISH translation, it is really hard to read it and understanding for those who are not in Chinese education. And also only have Mc Donalds in the main building ( it used to have a Chinese food restaurant on the rooftop where we can visit the small zoo) and with the other coffee house in the other building with the 3D movie theatre. The most thing I was very upset about was the small zoo had close down for renovation and it should be informed at the information counter or at the ticket counter.

A very interesting and well designed museum with a variety of exhibits ranging from the sciences & space to natural history to local and international culture... Could easily spend a whole day here and only touch the surface. Our 2yr old loved the dinasaur exhibit as well as the many interactive displays. Will defenitly return again [maybe without the little one ;-) ]

This large and comprehensive museum covers a lot of ground, from the natural history of Taiwan to aspects of traditional culture. There is just too much to take in on one visit. The presentation is very good, with themed displays rather than ones based on scientific classification. Admission to the exhibition halls is 100 NTD adult and well worth it.

We visited the museum in Dec '19 and we were wow'ed by the exhibits. We spent 4 hrs in the museum but couldn't cover all the exhibits, which ranged from dinosaurs (that children love) to chemistry. The exhibits and tours are mostly in Chinese though. Food wise, only McDonald's was available then. However, there were plenty of food choices across the street from the main entrance. Enjoy!
